BEAUTIFUL CONVERTIBLE!!! DIFFICULT TO FIND VEHICLE!!! Runs strong and drives great. Convertible top is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good shape. Has a clear title. I have owned the car for two years and love driving it. I hate to sell it but I need the space. The car had just less than 28,000 miles when I purchased it and I have only driven it a few times during the spring and summer months each of the 2 years I have owned it. The car has been garage kept since I have owned it (as well as by the original owner I was told). The interior is in very good condition, there are no rips or tears in the seats. Floor mats are also original and in good condition. There are no cracks in the dash or in the arm rest. The body is in great shape as well. There is one spider web in the paint on the front drivers side bumper. It is not noticeable unless you look for it. All headlights, turn signals, radio, and windshield washers with fluid work. XCAR marks 20-year anniversary of Senna's passing with Mercedes 190E Cosworth
Thu, 01 May 2014While the automotive world is focusing on the twentieth anniversary of Ayrton Senna's death, there was much, much more to the legendary driver than his untimely passing at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
XCAR has the story of a younger Senna, who, by a stroke of luck, found himself matched up against a veritable dream team of nine Formula One champions, not to mention a cadre of German touring car aces. A "probably still pissed (drunk)" James Hunt, hard-driving Niki Lauda and future champion and rival Alain Prost, were in attendance for the one-off, spec race, which was put on by Mercedes-Benz, in honor of the opening of the Nürburgring's Grand Prix circuit. And Senna was on hand with the explicit goal of besting them all.
Each driver was handed a lightly modified, but brand-new 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth, a car that can best be though of as the distant ancestor of the lovable C63 AMG. As for the race itself, well, it was sort of like an introduction of what the sport could come to expect from the Brazilian.

The 2015 World Car of the Year awards have just been announced, and the charming new C-Class sedan has taken top honors, beating both the new Volkswagen Passat and Ford Mustang. But Car of the Year isn't the only award Mercedes received this morning. Here are the other World Car announcements, where M-B was honored two more times. Mercedes Alabama ops ordered to allow workers to discuss unionization
Wed, Dec 3 2014A decision last week by the National Labor Relations Board has bolstered the efforts of the United Auto Workers at Mercedes-Benz's Tuscaloosa, AL factory, as the union continues its attempts to represent the factory's workers. According to Reuters, the NLRB ruled that Mercedes-Benz US International, the proper name of the company behind the Tuscaloosa factory, can no longer prevent workers from discussing unionization in work areas while off the clock. While MBUSI maintains that it's not taking a side on unionization and that it wants the "the decision left to our team members," the UAW is still arguing that the US facility should take the same position on unions that the rest the world's Mercedes-Benz plants take and. Speaking to Reuters, the UAW says that stance "acknowledges the human right to form trade unions" and "respects the right of collective bargaining." According to Reuters, the Alabama factory employs 3,500 workers – 2,500 full time and 1,000 "temporary" – and is the only Daimler-owned factory on the planet not to offer employees the opportunity for representation. Presently, the Tuscaloosa facility assembles Mercedes' C-Class, GL-Class and M-Class vehicles.
