BEAUTIFUL CONVERTIBLE!!! DIFFICULT TO FIND VEHICLE!!! Runs strong and drives great. Convertible top is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good shape. Has a clear title. I have owned the car for two years and love driving it. I hate to sell it but I need the space.

The car had just less than 28,000 miles when I purchased it and I have only driven it a few times during the spring and summer months each of the 2 years I have owned it. The car has been garage kept since I have owned it (as well as by the original owner I was told).

The interior is in very good condition, there are no rips or tears in the seats. Floor mats are also original and in good condition. There are no cracks in the dash or in the arm rest. The body is in great shape as well. There is one spider web in the paint on the front drivers side bumper. It is not noticeable unless you look for it. All headlights, turn signals, radio, and windshield washers with fluid work. The air conditioner blows cold. Any other questions just ask.

Mercedes-Benz intros long-wheelbase E-Class for China

Long-wheelbase sedans are a pretty hot commodity in China, and to keep up with the competition, Mercedes-Benz has introduced an extended version of the 2014 E-Class sedan at the Shanghai Motor Show. Audi, BMW, Volvo and even Cadillac offer extended versions of sedans specific to the Chinese market, and now the E-Class L, shown off in E400L guise, will give luxury sedan buyers in China yet another option.
Compared to the standard 2014 E-Class sedan, the new China-spec E-Class L has been stretched by 5.5 inches - all of which goes to the rear-seat passengers. According to an article on China View from earlier in the year, the market for chauffeur-driven cars is growing in the Asian nation, so automakers need long-wheelbase models like the E-Class L in order to fully compete. As for what powers this stretched E-Class, it's available in three models: the diesel E260L, the V6-powered E300L and the E400 Hybrid.
The redesigned E-Class and the all-new A-Class are just the first of 20 new Mercedes-Benz products that will be introduced into the Chinese auto market by 2015. Scroll down for the full press release on long-wheelbase E.

Firing of M-B boss upheld

Ernst Lieb, the disgraced former CEO of American operations for Mercedes-Benz, will not be getting any more money from the Silver Arrow'd teat. His wrongful dismissal suit against MB's parent company, Daimler, was tossed out of a German appeals panel. This, followed the initial rejection by a lower court last year.
According to court documents acquired by Automotive News, Lieb was found to have "accepted payments of substantial value to which he - as he was aware - had no claim."
Lieb took over American operations from former CEO Paul Halata in September of 2006. Reports surfaced in October of 2011 that Lieb was dismissed from his posting at MB, with a variety of rumors swirling. Eventually, news broke that financial wrong doing was responsible for the German's firing.
