This car is in excellent condition with minor wear that one would expect on a vehicle with 25,000 miles.  Detailed pictures are available upon request.  The car is a smoke-free vehicle and the interior and exterior are excellent.  There is some wear on the driver's seat bolster.  The floor mats are new OEM mats and both batteries have been replaced.  The chrome, trim, and brightwork are all excellent as is the glass.  The paint shows some minor stone bruises as can be expected with any car that has been driven 25,000 miles.  The listed mileage is as of4/23/2014 and may change slightly prior to the end of the auction.

Just in time for summer cruising with the top down in this beautiful convertible.   This car is an amazing combination of extreme luxury and track worthy power.  The AMG Aerodynamics provide an aggressive look and the suspension and braking are excellent. The self-storing convertible hard top makes open top cruising easy and fun and the Bose sound system provides more than enough power to deliver superb sound.   This car has all the amenities.  Go anywhere in ultimate style and class.  Personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged.

The car is located in the Portland, Oregon area.  I will assist with shipping but the arrangements for shipping and the cost of shipping are the buyer's responsibility.  The winning bidder must make payment within 7 days of auction close via bank wire transfer or bank cashier's check and the car will not be released until either form of payment has been accepted and cleared by my bank.

Mercedes CLA45 AMG Racing is ready for a spot on the grid

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Mercedes-Benz trotted out its CLA45 AMG-based racer at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. We first showed you the sedan in the deluge of news and reveals that precedes most good auto shows, and were blown away by the car, formally known as the CLA45 AMG Racing Series.
We were strolling by the Mercedes stand, and figured we'd pop in and take a look at the new racer and its carbon-fiber body panels, gutted interior, and race-sourced aero parts. It's a looker, both as a road car and a track weapon. It's not clear what series the CLA45 AMG will qualify for, although it does seem like a shoe-in for the World Touring Car Championship. Let us know what you think of the CLA racer down in the comments. In the meantime, we've got a full gallery of live images up top, along with the stock images that were posted last week on the Mercedes-Benz Facebook page.

Next, they take time to talk to legendary automotive designer and eponymous Chairman & CEO of Fisker Inc., Mr. Henrik Fisker himself, about jeans, horses and, of course, electric cars. Finally, they help a listener pick a $100,000 supercar in the "Spend My Money" segment. AMG-powered Aston Martins still years away

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

After flirting for several years, Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin have finally tied the knot. Just don't expect to see any offspring to result from the union for at least three or four years.
This according to Auto Express, which spoke with Daimler chief Dr. Dieter Zetsche at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week. AE reports that a new range of AMG-developed turbocharged V8s, transmissions and electrical components will make their way into the successors to the current V8 Vantage and DB9, but that these models are still a few years off.
Purists might balk at the thought of a Mercedes-powered Aston holding true to the brand's heritage. But while David Brown (for whom the DB range is named) may have steered clear of shoehorning in Detroit muscle into his cars, the entirety of the company's current range is powered by engines borrowing technology from Ford, and that arrangement seems to have worked well for Aston until now. And if you're still skeptical, look no further than Pagani and its AMG-sourced engines and you should have all the proof you need that the new relationship between Daimler and Aston could be a success.
