1974 Mercedes 450SL, 52,000 Miles, This 450SL is a clean,original, unmolested car, with actual mileage at 52K. You can tell just byseeing and driving this car, everything is working, very tight and responsivedrive. I purchased this car from the third owner, who was selling it because heis retiring, selling his home and downsizing his car collection. The car hasalways been looked after by professional Mercedes mechanics and has been garagedand well cared for its entire life. It was Just services; 4 new tires, 4 Shocks,fuel hoses/filter new distributer cap, rotor, points, ballast resistors & sparkplugs. All Fluids changed (brake, antifreeze, transmission, and differential).This car idles smooth, accelerates without hesitation, shifting with easethrough every gear. The Heater works, the A/C will need a recharge, buteverything is there and appears to be functional. The paint and body are in verygood condition, shiny and clean; everything appears to be original and wellcared for. There is no rust or dents on the car; no signs of previous bodydamage and the glass is good. The driver side fender has several small scratchesfrom what looks like mechanics belt. Barely noticeable, but I want to be fullytransparent, as these are the only marks on the car! The exterior color is whitewith saddle interior. The interior is in excellent like new condition, with veryminimal wear or patina, the carpets are like new, clean and not faded, and thedash is crack free. New Die Hard movie wrecked 132 cars in $11 million chase scene [w/video]
Sat, 16 Feb 2013It would seem the act of dying hard brings with it lots of wanton destruction of the four-wheeled kind. According to John Moore, director of A Good Day To Die Hard, starring Bruce Willis, There were 132 (cars) that could never be used again. Another 518 required a lot of work. And damn right there were some good cars there... That's the fun of it."

"With Die Hard it's about how audacious the action is," says Moore. "So you have to drive over a Lamborghini. An actual one. And yes it hurts me. I'm a car fanatic." Yeah. Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied once again
Fri, 08 Feb 2013As evidenced by how little camouflage the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been caught wearing lately, it can't be too much longer until the car will get its official debut. In our newest shots of the yacht-sized luxo sedan, the cladding still covers up the headlights, front fascia and most of the rear end, but we finally have an almost undisguised look at the rest of the car's lines.
Considering previous spy shots had more camo that better (or fully) concealed the S-Class' body, some of the more obvious things we see in these images include the prominent grille, the CLS-Class-inspired bodyside creases, the pointed trunk opening and, most interestingly, a lack of fancy exhaust outlets. Unlike other S-Class prototypes we've seen, this car does not have integrated outlets, but it does have two pipes on the left side of the car. All current S-Class models in the US and Europe feature a dual exhaust layout on each side of the car, so while some of our questions about the car get answered, it would appear that more are just arising.
