Hello, this is a very nice Mercedes Benz S430. It has an AMG engine, and I do not know the specs on this type of engine, but the regular S430 is a 4.3L V-8, naturally asperated DOHC engine. I bought this car last November, and finally took delivery in January. I must sell this car because the apartment complex that I live in won't allow me to own two cars, and since I did not register the car, I have to store it in my mother's garage since I don't have tags. I have only driven the Mercedes around town for a few miles, then to my mother's home which is 20-25 miles away, and it drove very well, very smooth, and the acceleration was phoenomenal. The Airmatic message comes on, and I asked my mechanic about it, and he specializes in German cars, and he said that since the car rises and comes back down, it is likely just a calibration issue. He said that this usually has some issues at this car's age. Everything that I used in the car and tested in the car all work to my knowlegde. The color is absolutely beautiful, a dark eggplant/black metallic color with the tan leather, I seriously couldn't even find an obvious dent or any damage to the car, it is truly gorgeos. The previous owner said that it had a minor oil leak, but I never had that checked out. I had the oil changed the day it arrived, and they said that the oil was dirty, but they didn't see any signs of an oil leak, so I don't know what is the story with that. The front marker light bulb is out, but that tis an easy fix, I just can't take it to my mechanic without tags, plus it's such an easy fix, you, the new owner, can easily get this done.
Bottom line, this is a beautiful car, but I need to sell it now, It is a good car with wear and tear according to its age. I do not know much about the car since I have only driven the car for 25-35 miles.
If you purchase the car, I expect a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours, and a cashier's check in 7 days after purchase. Then you may pick up the car locally or arrange for shipment, but the car must be picked up by April 1st.

Next Mercedes S-Class stretching into this 600 Pullman limo
Fri, 15 Mar 2013To the concern of nobody in particular, Mercedes-Benz will not be re-upping its Maybach line of ultra-luxury limousines. No, instead the German automaker will be stretching its already roomy S-Class, to make this upcoming 600 Pullman version of the decked-out beast.
The car in our new gallery of spy shots is sporting beefy B-pillars and a massive set of rear doors that should allow perfectly graceful ingress and egress from what is likely to be a palatial rear space. (In one photo we can even see a long-wheelbase S-Class in line with the new Pullman, handily exhibiting the size of the new variant.) The exterior modifications are otherwise obscured, though we can guess at revised front and rear fascia and lighting elements, based on both end being heavily taped for these test runs.
It's a good bet that the Pullman will make use of M-B's twin-turbocharged V12 engine, though sources indicate that a hybrid version might eventually be in the offing, as well.
Mercedes-Benz killing Maybach in 2013, replacing with S600 Pullman
Fri, 25 Nov 2011According to an unnamed Mercedes-Benz source speaking with AutoWeek, the German automaker is killing off its Maybach line in 2013.
The unsurprising news comes after the brand was resurrected in 2002, but failed to meet sales expectations with its two core models, the Maybach 57 and 62. Further solidifying its fate, a deal with Aston Martin to aid in the development of future Maybachs fell through earlier this year.
According to the AutoWeek insider, the plan is to continue to sell both Maybach models through the end of 2013, after which the fifth-generation S-Class will go on sale. When that happens, three new variants of the S-Class will be available, including an all-new, range-topping S600 that brings back the Pullman moniker and may be better suited to competing with the likes of Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
Mercedes to roll out C63 AMG late in 2014 with 4.0L V8
Mon, 30 Dec 2013The new 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is upon us, launching initially in North America with turbocharged four-cylinder C300 4Matic and six-cylinder C400 4Matic flavors. But that's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg when it comes to the vast array of powertrain configurations that will be offered in the new C-Class in markets around the world. Orders will soon be rolling in for gasoline, hybrid and diesel engines with four, six or eight cylinders, driving the rear wheels or all four, with the seven-speed automatic transmission soon to be replaced by a new nine-speed unit. But what enthusiasts are really looking forward to is the next C63 AMG.
As BMW has done with the M3 (and new M4), Mercedes has gradually ratcheted up the cylinder count in its AMG C-Class, graduating from the 3.6-liter V6 in the original C36 AMG to the 4.3-liter V8 in the C43 AMG, then the 5.5-liter V8 in the C55 AMG before going the distance with the sublime 6.2-liter V8 in the C63 AMG. Like its rivals, Mercedes is expected to use turbochargers as a replacement for displacement in the next model, but unlike its Bavarian rival, it won't be losing any cylinders in the process.
Skipping the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that has gone on to power other AMG models, the next C63 AMG is still expected to introduce a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing between 450 and 500 horsepower. It'll also reportedly keep the same seven-speed automatic transmission (instead of switching to the new nine-speed), but the jury's still out on whether it'll come with rear- or all-wheel drive (or offer buyers the choice). The downsized V8 - codenamed M177 - is then expected to find its way into other models, but the C-Class will be the first to get it when it arrives before the end of the new year ahead.
