If you have any questions or would like to view the car in person please email me at: koreykbbeddow@ukprint.com . 2010 Mercedes R350 4Matic Blutec Diesel Sportwagon: Iridium Silver/ Black Genuine Leather 79,493 miles. This is a
rare vehicle for all Blutec diesel lovers on Ebay. It is truly worth your while to make the effort travel to NJ and
bring this gem of a vehicle home. The perfect family vehicle, this car seats 6 very comfortably with ample rear
storage area remaining.
3.0L 6 Cylinder Turbo Diesel with 210 HP and 400 ft/lbs of torque. 2 owner car that was that previously a Mercedes
Certified Pre Owned vehicle. Clean Carfax, no history of accidents or issues. It was originally a special factory
ordered vehicle and has a very impressive list of optional equipment that totals over $18,000 in additional
niceties and added value. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack to duplicate this car. Original MSRP was
$69,315. Captain's chairs seating for the second row. Consumer reviews give this model Mercedes a 5 out of 5
rating.
Looks and drives great. Smooth and powerful, this car has the classic super solid confidence inspiring Mercedes
ride and feel. Mechanically excellent, it has just had a fresh oil and air filter change. Everything is tight and
you are welcome to have it checked out at a local Mercedes dealer at your expense. Everything works, and there are
no problems anywhere. Interior is excellent and shows very little wear. It has the special order only optional full
leather interior, not the standard MB Tex all the other ones will have.
Engine compartment is spotless Body exterior is excellent. It has one of the very smallest possible little dings on
the left drivers doorside. Bumpers are excellent save for the smallest scuffs on the left and right lower sides of
the rear bumper. I am being nit picky explaining these tiny marks as otherwise the car is super clean. This way no
one can say they weren't mentioned, but let's face it, every used car has some little something on it.
New Bridgestone 255/50RX19 Dueler H/L Alenza Plus tires on like new looking unblemished 19" alloy wheels. 7 Speed
automatic transmission with paddles and with All Wheel Drive 4matic with the six cylinder Blutec diesel not to be
confused with the 5 cylinder version. That's partly why this vehicle is so rare. This 3.0L turbo six is a known
performer for its durability and is the acknowledged workhorse in the Mercedes diesel lineup. It can easily go for
hundreds of thousands of miles with proper maintainence. It's primarily a truck engine. That's why this vehicle can
be relied upon for many years to come with faithful service long into the future. The trip computer averaged 23.3
MPG over the last 15,000 miles at an average speed of 32MPH. That is excellent documented fuel efficiency for such
a big full size Crossover type SUV!
Additional special options abound. Besides the real leather interior, $1590 extra, it has the gorgeous Panorama
full glass sun roof, $1070 addl, Premium Package 02 with Power tailgate, Keyless Go, Harman Kardon Sound System
with Dolby 5.1 Surround, ipod/MP3 interface, HD Radio, with Sirius Radio, COMAND w/Navigation and Voice Control,
Power folding mirrors, telescoping Steering Column, Autodimming mirrors, Rear View Camera, $5,950 addl,
PARKTRONIC, Illuminated doorsills, heated steering wheel, chrome door handles, AIRMATIC special suspension, ADS
Adaptive Damping System, 3 Zone Automatic Climate Control, Heated front AND rear seats, Bi Xenon headlamps,
headlight washing system, Cornering fog lamps,Infrared tinting glass, rear side window blinds, I have the full list
as it goes on and on, too much to mention. I have covered all the significant ones here. When I said this car was a
special order, I was not kidding!

2015 Monaco F1 Grand Prix race recap [spoilers]

Mon, May 25 2015

Lewis Hamilton came to Monaco with a new three-year deal with Mercedes-AMG Petronas and a vow to not let anything, including any "mistakes" by teammate Nico Rosberg, stand in the way of his best qualifying effort. Mercedes reportedly made it rain with a 100-million-pound deal, and Hamilton made it rain right back with his first pole position at Monaco. Rosberg did make a mistake but this time it was behind Hamilton, which meant he stuffed-up the qualifying attempts of rival drivers like Sebastian Vettel. So Rosberg starts second, 0.342 behind Hamilton but 0.449 ahead of Vettel in the Ferrari. Daniel Ricciardo thinks he should have been third, but a communication error with his engineers left him in the wrong engine setting for his final hot lap, so by the very first corner he'd lost the time he would have needed to get higher than fourth on the grid. The second Infiniti Red Bull Racing of Daniil Kvyat slots in behind him, ahead of the second Ferrari of Kimi "Not A Very Happy Day" Raikkonen, who just can't get it going lately. Sergio Perez did for the Sahara Force India what the car can't do on its own, which is grab a top-ten qualifying spot. Toro Rosso rookie Carlos Sainz had qualified eighth but missed a call to the weigh bridge, so he's been slapped into the pit lane. Pastor Maldonado in the Lotus inherits his eighth place, ahead of rookie Max Verstappen in the second Toro Rosso, and Jenson Button in the McLaren. Button only got up there because of two penalties: for Sainz, and Romain Grosjean who had qualified 11th but took a penalty for a gearbox change. Want to know how hard it is to do better on race day than in qualifying at Monaco? Even the never-say-die Fernando Alonso said, "Monte Carlo is a train of cars on Sunday, the race finishes on Saturday afternoon." Well obviously, he didn't take Max Verstappen's seek-and-destroy tactics into account. The young Dutchman had made passing look like a real option in Monaco, getting past Maldonado at St. Devote on Lap 7 after a bit of argy-bargy on Lap 6, then taking advantage of blue flags to slink past teammate Carlos Sainz and Williams driver Valtteri Bottas while hiding in Sebastian Vettel's slipstream. He tried the same move on Romain Grosjean on Lap 65, but Grosjean locked him out. Verstappen lined up the Lotus driver over the following laps, then looked like he slipped to the inside at St.

EVO "2012 Car of the Year: The Track Battles" is a sports car salmagundi

Sun, 25 Nov 2012

EVO has come out with another gotta-watch-it video, throwing its 2012 Car of the Year contestants around the UK's 1.5-mile Blyton Park track. It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
You'll find the verdicts, lots of tire smoke, and lines like "Anything you can do sideways I can do sideways" in the video below.

Race recap: 2016 Belgian Grand Prix is a dozen angry laps

Mon, Aug 29 2016

The calm of the Formula One summer break ended with the tumult of the Belgian Grand Prix. The first two days included unusual tire pressures and grid penalties; Mercedes-AMG Petronas' Lewis Hamilton started 21st because of a 55-place grid penalty for engine and gearbox changes, McLaren's Fernando Alonso started 22nd due to a 60-place penalty for the same offenses. The bedlam rolled right into what was effectively an 11-or 12-lap race. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg took off from pole and the cameras barely bothered with him until he took the checkered flag 44 laps later. Red Bull's Max Verstappen bogged from second on the grid, got swallowed by Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen on the way to Turn 1, then attempted to recover by sticking his Red Bull's nose between Raikkonen's sidepod and the apex at the first corner. Vettel, who didn't see Verstappen, turned into La Source leaving only enough room for Raikkonen. Three cars don't fit in a space for two cars. Vettel spun, Raikkonen and Verstappen clobbered one another and all three drivers had to pit for repairs. Force India's Nico Hulkenberg zig-zagged his way into second ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, Williams' Valtteri Bottas, and Sergio Perez in the second Force India. On Lap 6 Kevin Magnussen lost his Renault at Raidillon at the top of Eau Rouge and flew backward into an enormous crash. Magnussen escaped with just a cut ankle. The Safety Car paraded the field for four laps before officials red flagged the race to repair the barriers. When racing resumed on Lap 10, Rosberg led Ricciardo, Hulkenberg, Alonso, and Hamilton. Ricciardo stayed ahead of Hamilton to keep second place at the end of the race, Hamilton easily got around Alonso and Hulkenberg to lock up third. Hulkenberg – who'd given up second to Ricciardo by pitting during the Safety Car period – earned another career-best fourth position ahead of teammate Perez in fifth, followed by Vettel and Alonso on recovery drives, Bottas, Raikkonen, and Felipe Massa taking 10th in the second Williams. Rosberg reignited his Driver's Championship charge with the victory, closing to nine points of leader Hamilton. We could argue that Hamilton had an equally good day by driving from 21st to third, limiting his loss to only 10 points. About that Verstappen, though... We've seen far more experienced drivers attempt the same move Verstappen made into Turn 1 – Raikkonen on Bottas in Russia in 2015, for instance.
