The car is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic, which is an absolutely gorgeous color and is worthy of any international dignitary. The paint on the car has been garage kept and is overall very nice for the mileage. The car does have the expected rock chips up front which have been professionally touched up as much as possible. The body is all arrow straight without a single ding or scratch. All four chrome wheels look very nice with new Bridgestone tires. Overall condition of the exterior is a 9 out of 10! The interior is in great shape all around. The Charcoal Black Nappa leather interior and dark burlwood trim is all very nice and doesn't show any ware at all. All seats, door panels, and carpets are in very good condition and look like new. The interior is extremely comfortable and well optioned. All accessories work inside the car including the heated and cooled seats, power rear shade, Navi, CD Player, sound system, etc. The car has never been smoked in and has a fresh smell of fine woods and leathers. Overall condition of the interior is a 10 out of 10. The interior is finished off with a brand new set of AMG floor mats. Mechanically, this CLS runs like a top. I can't describe how nice this car drives. It is extremely smooth and luxurious, but with the stomp of your foot you unleash all the power of the AMG V8. AMG's motto is "One Man, One Motor" and that plain and simply means that this motor is hand built by one craftsman from block to finished power plant, and he signs his name to his work of art. The motor provides ample power to move the car around and will burn the tires off if you are not careful. 507hp rockets this sled 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. All correct accessories are in place and the motor has been completely cleaned and detailed to original condition. This car has a fully documented extensive dealer service history since day one which will be included with the car. I have all dealer print-offs of warrantee work as well as customer pay information. The car was always dealer serviced and maintained. The car has had all of it A and B services completed on time and had its most recent "A" service including oil change with Mobil 1 done at 60k and my service adviser said it is one of the nicest CLS's he has seen, and gave it a clean bill of health! The car is tight as a drum with no leaks. This car has absolutely no mechanical flaws what so ever, and all service records will accompany the car. She's ready for the road! The car will come with all original tools, spare, jack, full set of factory floor mats, all service history and receipts, all original books, and two keys/remotes. Toyota and Mercedes begin the Super Bowl ad teases with dads and hares
Tue, Jan 20 2015Advertising Age says pregame buzz is where Super Bowl advertisers really build momentum for their Big Game commercials, so let the teasing continue. We've seen the 30-second spot for the Lexus NX, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota are next out of the tunnel with campaigns that focus on a fable and fathers, respectively. The Mercedes tease gets former NFL wide receiver Jerry Rice lining up a talking-heads debate with eight-year-old Andrew Hunter about whether Hunter's hare could beat a tortoise in a race, but it's a disaster before it even begins. In what will be a continuing storyline, a social media component lets people side with #TeamTortoise or #TeamHare, with "a Big Race viewing party" going to a lucky winner. Mercedes also promises there'll be a hero at the end, which we imagine will something in the Three-Pointed-Star family as opposed to the Testudinae or Leporidae families. Toyota's all about the biological family, rolling out a series of tweets and Vine videos showing off ex-NFL'ers and their kids to hype the "One Bold Choice Leads to Another" campaign for the Camry. The profiled paterfamiliae will be examples of those "who have contributed to their families' lives in bold ways." A 60-second spot during the pre-game will feature Paralympic athlete Amy Purdy, then those stand-up dads will get their own 60 seconds during the second quarter. Lexus NX, BMW i3 to get Super Bowl commercials
Mon, Jan 19 2015At this point last year, we'd been getting news on automotive-focused Super Bowl commercials for more than two months. The teasers hadn't come out yet, but manufacturers lined up for the super-expensive spots were making their intentions known. This year? Almost nada, until this week. BMW has said it will air a 60-second spot promoting the i3 during the first quarter of the game, the Munich firm returning to The Big Game after a four-year absence. BMW says, "Big ideas like the BMW i3 take a little getting used to, and the creative idea surrounding our spot will play on this analogy." We say that pitching a tiny range-extended hatchback during the beer-iest American sports orgy of the year should make for some neat commentary afterward. Lexus is putting its new NX crossover in the second Super Bowl commercial it's ever aired, eschewing the glitter of celebrities and glamor for a straight-shooting spot and the tagline, "Be seen, be heard, make some noise." Joining those two are Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Toyota. The six confirmed carmakers are down from eleven last year, when car spots made up a quarter of the total ad time. The price to do business for 30 seconds this year: reportedly around $4.5 million, up a stacks from last year's $4 million.
