My 2007 CLK550 Cabriolet has almost every option that was available, AMG package; 17" monoblock alloy wheels, AMG body styling amd exhaust. Premium II option including Bi-xenon active light system, cornering fog lamps, Harmon Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system with 6 disk CD changer. Heated windshield washer and headlamp washers. In addition it is equipped with dual 10 way power heated seats. Premium leather interior. Dual climate controls, rich hardwood trim, electronic stability control, keyless entry, power tilt and telescopic multifuction steering wheel, switchable sport and cruise settings, automatic rollover protection. Insulated fully automatic convertible top and numerous other functions that are too numerous to mention. My CLK is powered by a 5.5L DOHC 32 valve alloy engine producing 382HP @ 6000rpm and 391 Ft/LBS of torque @ 2880 RPM mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission eqipped with sterring wheel paddle shifters. Condition: My CLK has been stored in a climate controlled garage. It has been faithfully maintained. The high performance tires have only about 4000 miles on them. I have all books and manuals as well as the wind deflector. The paint is flawless and there is no wear to the interior. This CLK has only 38,250 miles and is in best condition inside and out. Long-time viewers will recall the time he walked fans of his popular video series around the various projects going on in his eponymous garage. One such vehicle was his 1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3, which he'd planned on fitting with the powertrain from the awesome SLS AMG. But rather than just make the move and be done with it, Leno asked viewers whether he should restore the silver sedan or carry on with his plan to resto-mod. Well, the restoration team won, and the 6.3-liter sports sedan soldiers on unmolested. That is, of course, no bad thing, according to Leno. In his latest video, he revisits the 1972 luxury sedan, and takes it for a spin around Los Angeles. Fans of Mercedes' big-grilled 1970s styling won't want to miss this video.

Mercedes GLE Coupe spotted in almost undisguised AMG form
Wed, Dec 3 2014Say what you will regarding the form and function of the BMW X6, the bottom line is that BMW essentially pioneered a winning formula, sloping a roofline onto an existing model to make a new and highly lucrative) derivative. No wonder rival Mercedes-Benz is clamoring to follow suit with models like the one pictured here. Under development for some time now, the model originally slated to be called the MLC and now expected to be dubbed GLE Coupe looks about ready for its big debut. It's based on the replacement for the current M-Class (to be rechristened GLE) but with that vital sloping roofline to make it more rakish. This particular example seems to be an AMG version and was spied with only minimal camouflage around the front and rear bumpers while undergoing testing in snowy climes. That could be the full-on GLE63 AMG performance variant, or the new AMG Sport model destined to debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month. If it's the former, expect it to be packing the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 as the new Mercedes-AMG GT, where it produces either 462 horsepower or 510 depending on spec - ready to take on the X6 M and whatever Audi is preparing to throw at it.
