For sale is a Red 2005 Mercedes Benz CLK500.
Mercedes certified technicians serviced the car at the Mercedes dealership.
This pristine car has been kept in a garage in pothole free Boca Raton, FL. Convertible top has been recently shampooed
as well as a complete detail job on the entire car. Paint shows magnificent high gloss look and smooth as glass to
the touch. Florida cars make the best pre owned cars because of the climate and conditions in which it was kept.

302 horsepower at 5,5000 rpm. 5.0L V8 Engine that looks immaculate. 339lb-ft of torque at 2,700 rpm. Curb weight of
3,905 lbs allows this vehicle to absorb bumps and handle like the true luxurious vehicle it is. Everything under
the hood has been properly maintained with up to date oil changes and filters.

Amazing MPG- 17 city, 25 highway! This CLK500 was always kept inside an air conditioned garage to protect the paint
from oxidizing and losing its high gloss feel. The mature owner of this never owned any pets or smoked in this car.
This vehicle has never been near a salt truck or roads with potholes which are common in the North. What else would
you expect from a privately-owned, garaged 30,563 mile gem?

The transmission and suspension are in great shape due to Florida’s smooth, flat roads. No rusting from salt
trucks or sand trucks. This CLK500 does not have major road scraps or road rash that other 11 year old vehicles do.
Some minor scratches are present and are photographed. The owner of this vehicle took pride in maintaining this
vehicle to a tee!

This color combination is one of the most coveted of the CLK500 series. Stunning leather interior with wood trim
sets this CLK500 apart from other luxury vehicles. New Eagle GT tires have been put on the vehicle. Retail price
in 2005 was $55,000. This vehicle holds its value well and will for many years to come. The new tires handle
extremely well on tight turns and open roads. This vehicle handles extremely well in wet and dry conditions. The
recently shampooed leather shows no wear of stains from rain- one problem that many convertibles have.

Aston Martin's deal with Mercedes-AMG more than skin-deep

Tue, Jun 30 2015

Aston Martin is working on a raft of new models. But it's not going it alone: it has a technical partnership with Mercedes-AMG, the details of which have only been revealed in bits and pieces. If these latest spy shots are anything to go by, however, the arrangement could run deeper than anyone initially let on. Spied undergoing testing at the Nurburgring, this prototype for the upcoming successor to the Aston Martin DB9 is widely expected to be called the DB11 (10 is being used by James Bond's new ride). From the outside it doesn't look different than the previous versions we've seen running around, but this time we can also peer into the cabin, and that's where things start to get interesting. Despite the best arm-waving efforts by the development engineers, our spy photographers managed to snap a couple of shots of the interior. And though it looks far from being ready for production, the components we see appear to have been lifted from the Mercedes S-Class Coupe – particularly the steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, and almost the entire center console. This speaks to a deeper collaboration between the British and German automakers. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the Mercedes-AMG GT, C63, and G500 4x42 is already being adapted for use in the next generation of Astons. Related Video:

Mercedes testing C-Class plug-in hybrid modes in Germany

Wed, 07 May 2014

Testing appears to be underway for what would be the first Mercedes-Benz C-Class with a hybrid powertrain. We can see a pair of the prototypes undergoing testing in Germany, with one, a C-Class Wagon, still heavily clad in camouflage and featuring a more noticeable outlet on the passenger side of its rear bumper.
There's also a more production-looking sedan, which features a not-so-discreet flap over its rear-bumper outlet. It's difficult to speculate on power outputs for this fuel-sipping C-Class, although our spies seem to think that this car will feature some combination of a four-cylinder gas engine with an electric motor, although just which four is unclear (note, we wouldn't mind if MB fit its 2.0-liter turbo with some batteries and motors). Regardless, the four-pot/electric motor seems like a pretty reasonable combo, although it probably means that Mercedes won't be challenging the six-cylinder-powered system of the BMW ActiveHybrid3 any time soon.
When the plug-in C-Class arrives later this year as a 2015 model, it will likely offer a full range of driving modes, including both gas or electric, only, as well as a more traditional hybrid mode.

2015 Bahrain F1 Grand Prix puts a dark horse in the desert [spoilers]

Mon, Apr 20 2015

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen had said after Malaysia that Ferrari can challenge Mercedes-AMG Petronas purely on pace, beyond the scope of tire wear, in the dry. We didn't see that in China, where Lewis Hamilton easily kept everyone behind and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel only got close to Mercedes' Nico Rosberg when Rosberg slowed down to conserve his tires. But the Iceman's words seemed prescient during qualifying for the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix. At the front, nothing has changed so far this year: four races, four pole positions for Lewis Hamilton. Instead of teammate Rosberg next to him, though, he'll look over to see the scarlet Ferrari of Vettel, who took advantage of Rosberg's cautiousness to snatch second place on the grid. In Q2, Rosberg tried to conserve the tires he'd start the race on and said he couldn't get into a groove in Q3, putting in a time 0.147 seconds slower than Vettel. The second Silver Arrows will share his row with the second Ferrari, Raikkonen – yet again Β– saying he might have left some time on the table during his hot lap but getting around just one tenth off Rosberg's time. Williams is established as the best of the rest behind two teams this year instead of just one last year, Valtteri Bottas claiming fifth ahead of Felipe Massa. Daniel Ricciardo of Infiniti Red Bull Racing said he wants to fight with the Williams', he'll be helped with a good start off the line for the first time this year. Nico Hulkenberg got Force India into Q3 for the first time since the Italian Grand Prix last year and into eighth on the grid, ahead of Carlos Sainz in the Toro Rosso and Romain Grosjean putting in another excellent day's work for Lotus. Come race time, it turned into Mercedes power against Ferrari strategy. When Sky F1 commentator Martin Brundle talks about the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team he often mentions how their engine advantage leads to other advantages throughout the car. Not having to use aerodynamic changes to make up for power unit deficiencies, for instance, means they can run the aero setup they want, which optimizes speed and tire wear throughout a lap. It equates to advantage on top of advantage on top of advantage. That's where Lewis Hamilton is right now, so fundamentally dialed in to his car and his racing that he run the races he wants to run. From the front spot, the Brit ripped off another perfect start and led the field into Turn 1, relinquishing the lead only during pit stops.
