1997 Blue Mercedes-benz C-280 4-door, Leather, 140,000miles on 2040-cars
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States
This car has been loved and with the same family since 2002 but we no longer have room to keep her. We purchased the car from the Mercedes-Benz dealer of Austin Texas. All paperwork for purchase and repairs are in tact. 140,000 Miles, blue exterior, tan leather interior (no tears), working sun/moon roof, strong 6 cylinder engine, power windows and seats. The exterior is in great condition. The interior is also clean and in good condition. The leather seats, floor, paneling...are all in good shape. The only exception is that the ceiling fabric needs to be replaced. The car is smoke free, outfitted with Sirius radio, a CD player and a USB input and two keyless entry keys. The car starts and runs but is not shifting well. Our mechanic said it will needs a transmission shift plate. The tires will need to be replaced eventually as well. This would be a safe and comfortable car for someone who does not mind putting a little into fixing her up and who will not be driving long distances.
CAR IS SOLD AS IS....NO WARRANTY BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK-UP OR SHIPPING CAR LOCATION: OKLAHOMA CITY, OK |

Mercedes dealers authorized to spend $2,500 on perks for S-Class customers
Mon, 02 Dec 2013If you drop $100,000 on a luxury sedan, it seems only reasonable to receive some preferential treatment at the dealership you purchased from. After all, that price isn't just for the car - you're paying for the brand and all the cachet that entails. For Mercedes-Benz, those benefits have apparently been lacking relative to the German brand's luxury competitors.
That's set to change, though, as Automotive News reports that the German brand is placing a much greater emphasis on keeping its customers happy and loyal with its MB Select program. Starting with the new S-Class and spreading to the CLA-Class (and eventually beyond), dealers are being given money - up to $2,500 in the case of the flagship sedan - just to improve the customer experience.
We agree, improving the "customer experience" is quite a vague term, so it's nice that Mercedes USA's CEO, Steve Cannon, offered up some examples to AN at the LA Auto Show. For example, a customer couldn't fit his sunglasses into the overhead compartment. "So we bought him a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that fit because of their shape," Cannon said.

Mon, 19 Aug 2013LA To The Grand Canyon In The Mercedes-Benz Of RVs
Piloting an 8,500-pound motorized house down the highway is far from my idea of fun, yet inexplicably, I'm enjoying myself. My grin has nothing to do with my camper's handling, as this heavily accoutered Mercedes-Benz Sprinter drives like a 25-foot long breadbox. My smile has nothing to do with on-road stability, as the ten-foot-tall, slab-sided vehicle reacts to wind gusts like the vertical stabilizer on a Boeing jet. My delight has nothing to do with its throttle or braking response, either, as both are as numb as your forehead after the eighth beer.
This monstrosity makes me happy for one reason - my passengers are undeniably having a good time.
