We inspect the vehicles when the vehicles are donated, and we try our best to describe the vehicle to the best of our knowledge. All vehicles are sold AS-IS. Please take the time to inspect the vehicles if you are bidding locally and bid accordingly. Cars2Charities will provide you with all the DMV paperwork that you will need in order to register the vehicle. Keep in mind any DMV fees, registration fees, transfer fees, late penalties and smog fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $58.25 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle.

HERE ARE THE OPTIONS: V8 AUTOMATIC POWER WINDOWS POWER DOOR LOCKS SUNROOF ALLOY WHEELS ABS SYSTEM LEATHER INTERIOR A/C THE CAR IS A FRESH DONATION, IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A WHILE. IT STARTS UP, RUNS AND DRIVES. IT COULD USE A GOOD TUNE-UP AND A GOOD DETAIL. IT HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL AND IT WAS THE FLAGSHIP VEHICLE FOR MERCEDES IN ITS TIME. THE CAR HAS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, THE A/C DOES NOT WORK. THE MERCEDES HAS A CLEAR TITLE AND THE REG HAS EXPIRED ON 11/2011. ALL FEES, TAXES, PENALTIES AND TRANSFER FEES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. The deposit is a non refundable deposit unless Cars 2 Charities has mis represented the vehicle. A deposit must be made within 24-48 hours of winning bid. Deposit can be made using Paypal online or a Credit Card over the phone. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Vehicles must be picked up within 3 days of winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $25 per day will be assessed on the purchase. Please call to make arrangements if you are having difficulty picking up the vehicle.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class revealed again in 1:18 scale
Fri, 10 May 2013There is plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it could end up being a fairly anticlimactic reveal thanks to fully exposed spy shots, a leaked press photo and now images of a diecast version of the luxury sedan. Autoweek.nl has images showing a highly detailed 1:18 scale model of the redesigned S-Class that matches up with everything we've seen so far.
This isn't the first time a model car spoiled a new vehicle's reveal, as the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and 2013 SRT Viper were both unceremoniously revealed in toy form first. World Car Fans is reporting that the car 2014 S-Class will be officially unveiled on May 15, but at this point, all that's left to wonder about is the official on-sale date and what will be under the hood.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Concept crossover leaked ahead of Shanghai debut
Wed, 17 Apr 2013With just a few days left before the start of the Shanghai Motor Show, images of the Mercedes-Benz GLA Concept compact crossover have emerged online. The little 'ute is based on the small A-Class hatchback, and though it shares an identical wheelbase, is larger in every other dimension.
Looking like a rough-and-tumble five-door hatchback on the tippy toes of its 20-inch wheels, the GLA is most certainly destined for production in a toned down form that will borrow many bits and pieces from other cars based on this platform like the aforementioned A-Class and the CLA-Class sedan. Carscoop reports that the production version of the GLA will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of this year, with sales to the public starting in 2014.
Since it's based on the A-Class, we expect that the production GLA-Class will be powered by your choice of Mercedes' 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine and a diesel or two, and will offer transmissions that include the company's seven-speed DCT and perhaps a six-speed manual (at least in Europe). If the GLA follows the same path as the two cars before it, expect a GLA45 AMG producing over 300 horsepower, as well. As for what powers the GLA Concept, that just might remain a mystery until the vehicle is officially revealed in China.
