Hello,
I am selling my 1987 560Sl
Here is the list of things that I have done to the car since I have owned it, and all the pluses
Mechanichal
New waterpump, new o2 sensor, alignment, brakes, oil change, new ball joints and control arm bushings, alignment, window switch, instument cluster re done with all new lights, fog light lens, new fuel pump and lines, new battery
Interior
Brand new leather seats and arm rest, dash cover, Brand new german top,New sun visors...
All profesionally installed.
Still have the original first aid kit.
New SONY stereo with Bluetooth, and C/D, Full audio streemming system, replaced the old speakers in the dash (no cut outs)
This car drives so well, it is a shame that I have to let it go.
I bought the car from a client of mine and have had my eye on it for a long time in hopes that my wife would like to drive it.
But since it is a older car and we have a young child it makes her to nervous to drive with our son in the front seat.
I do also have the hard top for the car it is in perfect condition, the stand also goes with it.
For the minuses
The only two things about it is the paint job is a great 10 footer, It is the original paint and has never been repainted.
Eventually this car would be worthy of a paint job. But for now it still look's really good.
There is one piece of wood trim on the passanger side under the air vent that needs to be replaced. As seen in photo.
This is a real car the way they use to build them, and is and will always be a true classic.
I have all reciepts as well as 2 keys and original owners manual, and clean California Title in hand.
Also just paid reg. fees good until Feb. 2014
Clean Carfax with no issues.
Please feel free to send me any question you may have, and happy bidding....

Henrik Fisker interview, and driving the Polestar 2 | Autoblog Podcast #643
Thu, Sep 3 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder. They've been driving the updated 2021 Honda Odyssey, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 and the new Polestar 2 electric sedan. After reviewing those, they talk about how the Chrysler 300 appears to be withering on the vine. Next, they take time to talk to legendary automotive designer and eponymous Chairman & CEO of Fisker Inc., Mr. Henrik Fisker himself, about jeans, horses and, of course, electric cars. Finally, they help a listener pick a $100,000 supercar in the "Spend My Money" segment. 2017 Aston Marin Lagonda could live on Mercedes M-Class platform
Tue, 29 Oct 2013A few weeks ago, we brought you news from the launch of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante that the British brand, which is formally known as Aston Martin Lagonda, was still planning on going ahead with a Lagonda-badged crossover. Now comes word that that vehicle could very well be based on a Mercedes-Benz M-Class.
When the first Lagonda Concept debuted at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, it sat on a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class platform, some four years before Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG deal was inked. And with that partnership, which will see Aston Martin gain access to AMG electrics and "bespoke, V8 powertrains," the opportunities for platform sharing are many.
Dr. Ulrich Bez, the boss of Aston Martin, told the UK's AutoCar, "I look at what Porsche is doing with the 911 as its core business and then it is able to do models like the Cayenne based on the Volkswagen Touareg. It is good business." We've said many times that we'll tolerate exotic CUVs and SUVs if it means keeping the beloved core models alive, which has been the case with Porsche. We see no reason Aston Martin wouldn't be able to do the same.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied once again
Fri, 08 Feb 2013As evidenced by how little camouflage the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been caught wearing lately, it can't be too much longer until the car will get its official debut. In our newest shots of the yacht-sized luxo sedan, the cladding still covers up the headlights, front fascia and most of the rear end, but we finally have an almost undisguised look at the rest of the car's lines.
Considering previous spy shots had more camo that better (or fully) concealed the S-Class' body, some of the more obvious things we see in these images include the prominent grille, the CLS-Class-inspired bodyside creases, the pointed trunk opening and, most interestingly, a lack of fancy exhaust outlets. Unlike other S-Class prototypes we've seen, this car does not have integrated outlets, but it does have two pipes on the left side of the car. All current S-Class models in the US and Europe feature a dual exhaust layout on each side of the car, so while some of our questions about the car get answered, it would appear that more are just arising.
