up for sale is my 1985 mercedes 500 sec
the car overall is in very good condition I have been across many old vehicles so the exterior is overall very good condition for a 28 year old car has some minor paint chips and has been repainted before but presents itself very well gets compliments everywhere it goes the right side quarter panel has a few small bubbles nothing major the bumpers and moldings are also in good condition the trunk and rook have some chips on it again it's nothing major I have seen many of these sec's in much worse condition and even still wanted to buy it because of how rare it is and how nice the body design is the interior is overall good condition it's all there the leather is excellent condition the only major issue is the wood around the shifter and the ashtray is peeling from age these days can be redone very cheap or even a fun project to do by yourself sanding and staining the wood and also the driver window doesn't work I can assume it is the actuator but am not positive should be an easy fix mechanically the car runs and drives good has a new radiator replaced due to age new waterpump,new alternator,those were major issues when I purchased the vehicle otherwise it runs and drives no issues no overheating and transmission shifts good.In order for the vehicle to be brought to perfect needs some work which is not that bad getting into a project car that is all there runs and drives and just needs some things done this vehicle runs and drives and is all there alot of small fixes can be done to make it perfect |

Experience the New York Auto Show by drone
Fri, Apr 10 2015The Autoblog team recently returned from wildly running around the Javits Center to cover all the news and debuts at the New York Auto Show. Sometimes, it's nice to take a more serene look at the exhibition floor, though, and the event's organizers are providing that exact opportunity by flying a drone through the hall. Combined with the down-tempo music, this clip feels like a form of automotive meditation. If you're going to miss the show in the Big Apple, the drone also provides a good overview at the exhibition floor, especially at the stands from Lexus, Buick, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and BMW. Plus, it's a fun way to see some vehicles from a completely different angle than they ever appear on the road. New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe spied in revealing state of dress
Tue, 19 Feb 2013During a product briefing earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz told us that 2013 would be the "year of the S-Class." Makes sense, too, since the flagship Mercedes is so very close to finally showing its production-ready face. But the high-tech saloon isn't the only S-Class to talk about this year - quite the contrary. Seen here in decidedly revealing camouflage, the new S-Class Coupe will be joining its four-door compadre in the not-too-distant future, as well.
When it launches, the S-Class Coupe will officially do away with the CL-Class nomenclature. This doesn't come as a huge shock. After all, when the new E-Class coupe and convertible were launched, it officially marked the end of the long-running CLK-Class designation.
Thanks to the interesting camouflage seen here, we have a very good glimpse at how the S-Class Coupe will look when all of the molding and swirly paper are peeled off. Rakish body lines pulled from the CLS-Class meet a much more dynamic front fascia. Out back, there are horizontal taillamps rather than the vertical units used on the current car, and the whole package seems very svelte. Our spy photographer even posits that this will be "the best-looking car from Mercedes-Benz in ages."
