All my offerings are put through a service/safety check and road test to be sure they are safe and road worthy. I make sure the oil has been changed and do an inspection of the brakes, belts, hoses, cooling system, fluid levels, etc. Of course, every vehicle will ride and drive with the engine and transmission performing as expected. If you would prefer to have a third party inspect the car before bidding, I am most willing to help you facilitate that. I know of several shops in town that will deal with you directly or you are welcome to locate one on your own. Either way, I will deliver the car there for you and pick it up after inspection for no extra charge. Of course, the shop would charge a nominal fee and would bill you directly, but I will even reimburse your inspection charges if you end up buying the vehicle!!!

If you have been looking for that one special Mercedes Benz wagon, then you definitely need to check out this gorgeous one owner 300TE with just 89,000 miles! And it's a 4-matic with service history that has spent the majority of it's life here in Florida! The owner, a wealthy individual just donated it to the the Salvation Army and I was lucky to buy it from them and offer for sale here on eBay Motors. According to the documents, the history of the car goes like this- The owner bought it brand new and registered it Jan 21, 1993 in Montclair, NJ from Mercedes Benz Manhattan Inc. of New York. The stamped service book shows Mercedes Benz Manhattan also did all the maintenance up to 57,647 miles in October of 1997. In February of 1998 with 59,776 miles, the owner brought it down to Florida and left it here at his new 12,000 sq. foot 1.7 million dollar home in Bonita Springs. Oil change stickers/records shows the maintenance continued. For the next 16 years, just to use for the winter months spent in Florida! Very little time spent in the NJ winter as there are no rust issues and even the underside is still nice as you will see in the pictures below. Always garage kept and well taken care of by an owner that could well afford to keep his TE wagon nice and that's what he did! The condition throughout attests to that. What a super nice and clean Benz Wagon that does everything it was designed to do and does it very well. It's the kind I would gladly sell to a friend or family member, so that should tell you something! Inside and out, it has that clean and well cared for, garage kept look we all like to find. The Dark Blue paint has a deep shine and color with no rust, dents or fading and the Palomino Benz Tex interior is fresh, clean and comfortable with very little if any wear at all. Not even smoked in and ready to enjoy right away! Of course, the ride and drive is excellent with a strong engine, tight suspension and smooth shifting transmission. And with my service/safety check done and great service history, it's ready for any road trip or daily duty! Just as pretty in person with nothing to take away from the clean look! Very little of even the typical stuff, it's as nice as you could find! Deep shine and color with no fading or rust. Even the bottom sides of the doors still looks new!

I noticed a tiny ding on the left rear door, too small to show in a picture.

As for original paint, I did detect some overspray around the VIN sticker behind the license plate, but anything done was done VERY professionally with perfect results. No accidents or repairs, would have been for cosmetic reasons. The owner could certainly afford the best and he obviously took care of his car. I would normally not even bother mentioning it, but I know there are Mercedes aficionados that would want to know.

A ding below the right tail light and one small, shallow push-in at the center of the very lower panel under the rear bumper. All very minor and of no consequence.

From every angle, this is one SWEET wagon! Hard to believe it's from 1993! Just goes to show what good care of a quality car will do for you!

Interior

Just as good inside, looks amazing! As nice and clean as you could find with very little wear and not even smoked in! The air is cold and everything seems too be working as it should including the auto climate control zone changes and the clock! The only thing I found is the cassette radio is not powering on. Common for these older Benz radios and easy to replace with either an original or upgrade to a CD player which most people will do anyway. The camera flash reflection off the carpet nap and seat material can make things look faded or dirty, it's not like that in person. There is some light discoloration on the two front carpet pads from spending their life under the factory floor mats.

No dash cracks or fade! Garage kept cars don't spend a lot of time in the sun and it shows!

Even underneath the rear seat looks new! Like I said, this is a nice car!!

                Bidding/Buying Policies
The advertised vehicle will be described as accurately as I can, but remember these are used cars, they will show signs as such. As stated before, each offering is checked over before selling, but you are not bidding on brand new cars, so there may be parts of the vehicle that are not new. Depending on the age of the vehicle, the various systems involved will be at different levels of wear/service life and there may be the typical tiny chips/dings, blems and other signs of normal wear, inside and out, that you would expect on used vehicles. I am sure this is obvious to most people. I will do my best to describe all the apparent and important things so you are clear on what you are buying, but I encourage you to call with any questions you may have before bidding. Customer is responsible to obtain their own insurance on any vehicle purchased. Insurance is provided by the transport company for all vehicles during shipping, but my insurance ceases to cover anything once it is sold. Sold being described as when funds are received in full, not at the time the vehicle is delivered.

According to Federal guidelines, all vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If I have documentation to back up the mileage on these older cars, I will.

Payment must be made by cash-in-person, cashiers check, money order or bank to bank wire transfer. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit will be expected within 3-5 days following close of auction and remainder paid within 7-10 days. If you have a special situation, please feel free to call ahead of time to discuss. I am very easy to deal with!

Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized form from the State of Florida proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit. You DO NOT pay sales tax twice! Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida.

Buyer assumes the cost and responsibility of shipping. I already have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the USA, so I can help arrange this for you and give you cost estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in and drive home, I will gladly pick you up from the Ft. Myers International Airport and provide you with a free 30 day temporary plate for your vehicle. You must have insurance before a temporary plate can be issued.

All vehicles do have clear titles and are guaranteed to be clean and free of any liens or brands such as salvage or rebuilt. Occasionally, a title will be in transit from the bank or dealership because of a loan payoff and may not be in my immediate possession, but will be processed to you as soon as physically possible.
Any buyer with a negative rating will be ignored unless he contacts me first with a good explanation. There is no sense in running up the prices by people who have problems following through with commitments. Remember you are entering into a legally binding contract. I WILL GIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON ANY FINAL BIDDER THAT REFUSES TO HONOR HIS OR HER OBLIGATION!!!

"In-house production is almost irrelevant to the consumer," Daimler boss Dieter Zetsche told reporters on the eve of the Frankfurt Motor Show, in the midst of a German election campaign in which automotive jobs have loomed large. The company set a target of saving 4 billion euros ($4.8 billion) by 2025 to help fund the cost of its electric cars. "Daimler is the first company to state explicitly how much electric vehicles are going to hurt margins," said Bernstein analyst Max Warburton. Volkswagen, for its part, said it was seeking new global supplier contracts to source 50 billion euros ($60 billion) of electric car content including batteries, which are not yet manufactured competitively in Europe. VW diesel emissions-cheating exposed by U.S. regulators in 2015 triggered global public outrage, dozens more investigations into test-rigging by the wider industry and a push by some lawmakers to ban diesel and eventually all engines. 2015 Italian Grand Prix is smoke, mirrors, stalls, and stewards

For the first day-and-a-half of the Italian Formula One Grand Prix weekend, everything went to blueprint: Mercedes in front, Ferrari lurking, everyone else scrambling in their usual orders behind. Then qualifying came, and someone stirred the pot. About the only thing we expected was for Lewis Hamilton to put his Mercedes-AMG Petronas on pole position, the 11th time he's done it this year. He did it with a brand-new specification engine, one that represents not only an evolution in components, but also in power unit philosophy. Kimi Raikkonen lines up in second. It's been a long time since we read those words; the Iceman hasn't been on the first row since the 2013 Chinese Grand Prix, when he put his Lotus second on the grid behind... Lewis Hamilton. Raikkonen lined up just ahead of a Ferrari at that China race, then driven by Fernando Alonso. In Italy this weekend, he lined up in front of the Ferrari driven by his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, who qualified third. Both Ferraris benefitted from an upgraded power unit, ending a front-row drought for the scuderia that goes all the way back to Monaco in 2009 Germany in 2012. Nico Rosberg has a lot of work to do from fourth in the second Mercedes-AMG Petronas. Mercedes discovered a problem with Rosberg's engine but couldn't figure out the cause, so he reverted to the previous-spec engine he used in Belgium, one that's six races old. The lack of power hurt. Williams teammates Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas took fifth and sixth, with Massa seemingly given a team-ordered helping hand. Williams told Bottas to tow Massa down the front straight, giving Massa a blistering time in the first sector. Then Bottas did it again, ensuring he would line up behind Massa. The first Sahara Force India of Sergio Perez nabbed seventh, three places ahead of teammate Nico Hulkenberg in tenth, with Romain Grosjean in the Lotus behind Perez in eighth. Marcus Ericsson in the Sauber qualified ninth, but some clumsy driving saw him impede Hulkenberg twice. The stewards penalized Ericsson with a three-place grid penalty and two points on his superlicense, so Hulkenberg inherited ninth and Pastor Maldonado in the second Lotus inherited tenth. We hardly saw Hamilton during the race, because he led from the start, worked up a larger gap to second place on every lap, and didn't give up the lead for the whole event.

This past week played host to a wide assortment of automotive news, highlighted by our first drive of the 2018 Volvo XC40. The Swedish crossover is targeted at young, successful Millennials, but it offers cool styling, fun dynamics, and all of today's must-have technology, so we think it ought to appeal to a much wider swath of the automotive marketplace. From there we answer the question, "What are hard on the outside and soft on the inside?" as we take a look at the next Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. We expect the German automaker's flagship luxury SUV to remain boxy on the outside, but the interior is going to be soft, supple, and luxurious. And then there's the Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, which starts at starts at $34,290 and boasts 212 total system horsepower, 232 pound-feet of torque, 47 miles of electric driving range, and a total range of 340 miles. EPA rates it at 110 MPGe in EV mode, and 44 city/40 highway/42 combined overall. We compare it to other plug-ins like the Chevy Volt and Toyota Prius Prime. And finally we have some more spy photos of the 2019 Ram 1500. It doesn't have a traditional crosshair grille, but it's got plenty of chrome and an attractive upright stance that's sure to tempt future truck buyers looking for some sophistication to go with their work gloves.
