Huge car inside, trunk is huge older large style body. Everything about this car is clean. Body, seats and all glass in excellent condition. Tires are excellent. All lights work, climate control, heater and AC work. Sun Roof works great and does not leak. I would love to someday restore this car, but just never seem to have time, owned about 3 years now. Interior is nicotine/smoke free. I have motorcycles and 4 cars right now crowding my driveway! I'd planned to restore this vehicle for the past 3 years, but never seem to have time. If you have any questions about this vehicle, will be glad to email you anything you'd like to know or email additional pictures. I'm told this model Turbo Diesel is easily converted to run on used cooking oil? I won't warrant this is true, so do your research if this is your intention with this vehicle. I will entertain all offers for the vehicle. MAKE ME AN OFFER, I need the space in the driveway! Car drives great, you can see and drive at my location. 1st Reasonable offer will drive this home! Bring your own tags.
There are a few issues I've never had time to fix that doesn't affect the driveability, which is why I'm selling so cheeap! German radio has never worked since I bought it, should be easy/cheap to replace. Right/Rear window will go down but not back up, small plastic roller on control arm needs replaced. Speedometer recently stopped working, but RPM meter gives me the speed! Odometer reads 221k but should read 226k. All other gauges on dash work. The "Title Hit" on the Vehicle History Report is only due to the mileage being the same the past two years during annual inspection. Title is clear and free of any liens. High/Low beam stem needs replaced on left steering column. Everything works with it, turn signals, high beam and low beam. But, must pull back slightly on stem to keep low beams on. High beams stay on fine. I have nothing to hide and regret having to get rid of this, but time and work will not permit me to restore as I'd planned.
As far as delivery, would prefer Local Pickup, but if you hire a shipper, I will drive the vehicle onto the moving vehicle at Front Royal, VA for you.
Full Payment must be made before delivery and title will be signed over. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close or vehicle will be relisted. Pickup/Delivery date is negotiable after full payment is made for selling price. Paypal is preferred payment option, but not required.

Mercedes takes VW Westfalia Camper idea upscale with new Marco Polo
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz revealed the new V-Class. Slotting in below the popular Sprinter, the new V-Class replaced both the Viano and Vito upon its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. But Mercedes isn't quite done with it just yet. At the upcoming Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany, Mercedes will reveal the Marco Polo - a versatile, stylish and decidedly contemporary take on the classic camper van.
Named after the famous Italian explorer, the Marco Polo was converted by Westfalia, an outfit which you might more closely associate with classic VW camper vans but which Daimler absorbed over a decade ago. Offering, according to the press release below, "a maximum of opportunities to be independent, free and spontaneous," the Marco Polo sleeps four thanks to the rear bench that electrically folds flat into a bed and the second berth under the pop-top. The flexible interior is decked out like you'd expect a modern Mercedes to be, with ambient LED lighting as well as wood, metal and piano black trim.
It's got an onboard kitchenette with two gas burners, a sink and fridge with a 10 gallons of fresh water and an even bigger waste tank. All that gear is shlepped around by a choice of four-cylinder turbodiesel engines ranging in output from 136 to 190 horsepower. The relatively compact form boasts a turning circle similar to a full-size sedan and a height designed to fit into most garages and car washes. All of which just might make us reconsider the appeal of traveling by camper van.
2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup shows its freshened face
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Mercedes-Benz showed us its redesigned 2014 E-Class more than a month ago, but the Detroit Auto Show finally gave us a chance to see the full family of mid-size luxury cars and wagons in the flesh. Dieter Zetsche introduced the cars, including sedan, coupe, convertible and station wagon, on stage showing the stylish new design direction.
The wagon and sedan versions (shown as the E400 Hybrid above) will go on sale this spring, while the coupe and cabriolet will hit showrooms over the summer. Check our new gallery of live shots for the entire 2014 E-Class lineup, as well as the previously released press release below.
Top 10 small cars with the longest total driving range
Thu, Mar 19 2015Editor's Note: Since this article was originally posted in the spring of 2015, much has changed in the automotive landscape, especially among those shopping for small car economy. With thanks to Volkswagen for their blatant cheating – and subsequent cover-up – on diesel emissions, the largest player in the diesel passenger car segment isn't playing – they're paying; billions are going for both car buybacks and federally-imposed penalties. And for a few VW execs there exists the very real possibility of jail. With the absence of a big player and the abrupt entrance – via Chevy's new Bolt – of an affordable EV with 200+ miles of range, we've limited the diesel listings to Jaguar's new XE. And for those wanting an updated look at efficiency and range, Autoblog has it – or the EPA has it. Long before electric vehicles were part of the mainstream conversation, car lovers and skinflints alike would boast about the total range of their vehicles. There's something about getting farther down the road on one tank of gas that inflames the competitive spirit, almost as much as horsepower output or top speed. Of course, the vehicles with the very best range on today's market are almost all big trucks and SUVs; virtually all have the ability to carry massive reserves of fuel. Top up a standard Chevy Suburban and you can expect to travel almost 700 miles (you'll need to stop before the Suburban stops...), while a diesel-fed Jeep Grand Cherokee manages almost as many. But what about vehicles that are smaller? The EPA has, essentially, three classifications for 'small' vehicles: Minicompact, Subcompact and Compact. All three are measured based on interior volume, meaning that some cars with rather large exterior dimensions and engines slot in next to traditional small cars. But even though impressive GT coupes from Porsche, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz may have much larger gas tanks to feed their powerful engines, that capacity is offset by higher rates of consumption... in most cases. We used the EPA's Fuel Economy Guide for model year 2017 cars as a start, calculating the official highway miles per gallon rating with each vehicle's tank capacity. The resulting numbers aren't necessarily real world, but they do offer a spectrum for total theoretical range. The eventual top ten surprised me on a few occasions, and comprised quite a varied list of vehicles. 10.
