What a beautiful example of a classic Benz! This car is in immaculate condition for the vintage. It looks amazing inside and out out runs and drives just as beautifully. It has no doubt been cared for and garaged it's entire life.
The good-Clean and clear title, no wrecks, rust, dents etc-drives beautifully. Relatively low mileage for a diesel engine. It's just now really hitting the sweet spot!
Engine is strong with great compression and power. Starts easy every time and idles smooth.
The tie rids, ball joints, and control arms were replaced about 30k miles so it rides like new.
All four tires match and are virtually brand new. The previous owner replaced the oem wheels with newer oem Mercedes wheels. Both original keys included.
The glow plugs, brakes and complete fluid flush and fill all have been installed new and performed in the last few thousand miles.
Both the AC and heat work well.
No leaks whatsoever. The diesel engine uses an appropriate amount of oil, about one quart every 3,000 miles.
The double pane windows gives the quiet ride that a car with an original msrp of $80k should.
You can get 40 MPG cruising on the highway in this thing!
Things I'm aware of that don't work- The passenger rear window switch is out as well as the sunroof. The window I'm fairly certain is the switch and the sunroof could be the switch or motor. I actually just ordered a switch and will update if I get it fixed.
The radio is showing an error code 2, which is the tuner and can be found one bay for about $150. I will let the new owner decide whether they want to keep it original or just put a new radio in.
There is a crack in the front windshield.
The gas cap sometimes has to be manually released. (pop the trunk and pull the lever)
Any questions or anything I might have missed please ask BEFORE BIDDING!
PAYMENT TERMS ARE AS LISTED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE!
It's up to you to arrange pick up or shipping.
I have to the best of my knowledge described this car but as with any and all used cars it is being sold as-is with no warranty written, implied, or otherwise!
Please feel free to inspect the car if you are in the area.

2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 Sport
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Mercedes Makes A Mighty Little Sedan
We got overexcited when the W203 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan came out in 2001, calling it the "Baby Benz" when it really wasn't. We knew that, too, but our enthusiasm for a model more like the old 190 of the '80s was so strong that we were willing to stretch the first-gen C-Class to fit that mold. Today, the C-Class has done what all German premium cars do: grown in size. In this case, grown to satisfy the market intentions of the previous E-Class.
There was the tall A-Class sold from 1998 through 2010, but we never considered that a serious small Benz in the proper spirit, nor was it ever offered in the US. Regardless, we've been craving a smaller, premium, sexy sedan all the while.
YouTube's Super Bowl commercial buzz list dominated by automakers [w/videos]
Thu, 31 Jan 2013After Sunday's big game, YouTube will be the place to watch every commercial that you missed when you left your seat for an emergency guac refill or, as we say in Cleveland, took the Browns to the Super Bowl. That makes YouTube the nation's water cooler on Monday, and it's got some preliminary stats to share in the lead up to kickoff.
As you know, Super Bowl advertisers, particularly automakers, like to endlessly tease their big budget commercials in the weeks before the game, many times revealing them outright days in advance. Because of this, YouTube can tell us which commercials have been viewed the most so far, and their top five list is all automakers.
Kaley Cuoco appears to have been a good investment for Toyota, as her ad for the RAV4 has garnered the most YouTube views - six million and counting - among Super Bowl commercials so far. Second place goes to Mercedes-Benz, though not its actual Super Bowl commercial, but rather the teaser for it. You know, the one with Kate Upton and the car washing, which is up to 5.6 million views. Third place is Audi's Prom commercial (3.3M views), fourth goes to Volkswagen's slightly controversial Get In, Get Happy ad (3.3M views), and the fifth and final spot is bookended by the teaser video for Kaley Cuoco's commercial (3.2M views). You can watch all five in order below.
Range Rover versus Mercedes-Benz: Which makes a more appealing SUV?
Mon, Aug 14 2017From time to time — truth be told, all the time — the Autoblog staff enjoys a good debate on the merits and demerits of the cars and trucks we drive each week. This week, we spent some time in a brand-new Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged SUV, a model some of us think sits at the pinnacle of the luxury utility vehicle segment. Others disagree. The following is a real-life online debate that took place over the course of a few hours. Have a read, and feel free to take sides. There's a poll at the end so you can make your voice heard. Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski: Strange as it may sound, Jeremy Clarkson and I have a few things in common, most obvious of which is that we share a given name. But we also both love cars so much that we decided to turn our automotive passion into a career — with varying degrees of success, of course — and we both have come to realize over time that there's no point in trying to topple the Land Rover Range Rover as the world's best luxury off-road utility vehicle. Thing is, this universal truth isn't quite as universally shared as I think it should be. In fact, my esteemed colleague Alex Kierstein believes that Mercedes-Benz makes the most desirable four-wheel-drive off-road vehicles. He's clearly wrong, but I feel obligated to let him explain his choice, though it won't go without a rebuttal. Senior Editor Alex Kierstein: That's correct, and so am I in this regard. I'm sorry, Jeremy, but it's an irrefutable fact that Mercedes-Benz is doing the best interiors in the business now. And the interior is where you're going to spend most of your time, at least when the thing's running. The Range Rover's interior simply isn't as special, and frankly it'll be in the shop enough that you won't enjoy it. Now, stepping into pretty much any contemporary Mercedes sedan interior is a "wow" moment. They seem special — posh, exclusive, luxurious. The SUVs, all older vehicles coming due for total redesigns at some point in the future, are lagging a bit, but it's still a premium and upscale experience. Especially since performance is almost academic at this point. Anything in this class is going to be powerful, almost absurdly so. So why not go for the one that makes you feel like royalty, rather than your mechanic? JK: I just want to point out that it was you who brought reliability into this discussion.
