NO RESERVE AUCTION: highest bidder will own this car.

NO ACCIDENTS original paint and Flawless AutoCheck Report!

Interior is 9.9  out of 10 everything works including the seat belt extenders. The leather was covered with sheepskin by the original owner and was only recently uncovered and as a result the seats look and feel like new. Exterior is 9 out of 10 with original paint and some very minor clear coat peel on the hood 2" diameter spot but not very noticeable (watch the video to try to see the spot). Tires are 80%. The trim rings around the seatbelt extenders are missing and the rear ashtray is missing. M104 engine and Automatic Transmission. Complete set of original manuals.

There is only one owner on title, although I am the second, but have not put my name on the title as I have only had it a few months. The back of the signed original title is clear and ready for your name (I can provide a bill of sale including my name).

THE ONLY ISSUE: This car needs an ignition control module (EZL). When I purchased the car I picked it up from a Mercedes repair shop that diagnosed it having a bad EZL. If your familiar with these cars you know it will cost $400-$800 on e-bay for a used module with  a warranty. The car is currently running as a result of some clever wiring. I installed an older Ignition Module and jumped the fuel pump to come on with the key (These modifications were done in such a way that they can be undone). The car does not idle well but runs smooth and strong while driving. The transmission performs flawlessly.

The California Tags expired November of 2012. Outside of California there are no back fees due. There is a small penalty due if you reside in California plus standard registration fees.

Car was ran for several hours and I have driven it about 50 miles with no overheating and no other known issues aside from ignition module.

Frankfurt Motor Show Notes: Why Jaguar decided to build an SUV

Wed, Sep 16 2015

It was inevitable. Jaguar had to make an SUV, and that notion became reality this week with the debut of the F-Pace, an all-wheel-drive five-seater that will launch in the United States next spring. Some purists may cringe. But in an era when Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and other traditional luxury brands are all building or (planning to build) SUVs, Jaguar had to evolve. While it seems like a leap for Jaguar to make an SUV, longtime design director Ian Callum said it's been in the works for years. "The first time I was asked the question was when I arrived 16 years ago," he said. So in 1999 (and probably well before that), Jaguar was already thinking SUV. What took so long? "It wasn't a priority," Callum said. Jaguar was concentrating on fixing its existing lineup, which was pockmarked with holes and poorly selling products, like the X-Type. Along the way, Jaguar and sister brand Land Rover were sold by Ford to Indian conglomerate Tata Motors. Flash forward several years, and Jaguar and Land Rover are both experiencing a resurgence in the United States and around the world. Jaguar's lineup is flush with the E-Type's modern successor, the F-Type, plus a new version of the XF. The XJ received a 2016 freshening, and the smaller XE sedan is on the way. Jaguar put its house in order as other factors conspired to make a crossover timely. Fuel prices stayed relatively low, and consumers in the US and China remained steadfast in their love for utility vehicles of all stripes. Making a Jaguar SUV became a priority. "The world was telling us in no uncertain terms this is what they wanted," Callum said. "Not to be in the sector would be a little naive for the sake of purity." Jaguar proved its intent two years ago when it revealed the C-X17 crossover concept at Frankfurt, and the final production model is close to the prototype's striking looks. "I thought we managed to maintain that spirit," Callum said. It's a true Jaguar, with cues from the F-Type, 1968 XJ, and other famous models. Who would have thought Jaguar would make an SUV? "I certainly didn't," Callum admitted. But the F-Pace is here. If Callum is okay with it, purists can be, too. Quick Hits Opel retrenches for 2016 and beyond Opel used the Frankfurt show to display its new generation of the Astra, a critical vehicle line for the German division of General Motors.

Test drive the Mercedes SLS AMG Electric Drive with Chris Harris

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

It's hard to not like the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT. The all-aluminum coupe is fitted with a wonderful naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 delivering 583 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Not only does the burly combustion engine launch the two-seater to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds, but it does so with one of the world's greatest exhaust soundtracks as it roars, burbles and cackles down the road.
But what happens when Mercedes-Benz takes away the V8 and its accompanying fire-burning song? Stripped of one of its most appealing assets, does the SLS lose its soul?
Chris Harris recently had the opportunity to take the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive for a track spin in Europe. Sans gasoline, but with four electric motors providing a combined 740 horsepower (737 pound-feet of torque), all-electric all-wheel drive coupe uses sophisticated torque vectoring and a multi-mode operating system to put oversteer - drifting! - back into the equation. Fun? You bet. See for yourself, below.
