1984 Mercedes 300TD Turbo Diesel, California car, Runs great, all original car, Nice MB Tex interior with very firm driver seat. Straight body, a little fading on the top(should be expected. I only found two rust areas (1 small blister on right fender by moulding and one larger area between rear window and trunk, undercarriage is very solid. Mechanically very good, but you should expect to do the usual vacumm line replacement and it does need a right rear CV axle immediately (noisey) and i reccomend that you replace the front tie rod ends as i think my shipper(tow truck may have bet them slightly( will affect alignment) Easy repair. These are all normal issues for these cars. Also, it either needs a speedo cable or or instrument cluster replacement ( comes with replacement cluster, replacement reads 158K). What you are getting is a very solid car for less than solid cars are selling for. Sold as is for only $1,995.00. We are a licensed Florida dealer and you may be required to pay sales tax and/or title registration. Call for more info 321-213-3636. Thank you again for looking

Mercedes AMG GT3 racecar due in 2016
Sun, Nov 23 2014Our life with the Mercedes-AMG GT has only just begun, and a full life it looks like it will be. The latest in preposterous two-doors from AMG is launching in GT and GT S flavors, but a few more branches of the family tree are already planned: a racing entry for the FIA GT3 championship is scheduled to appear in 2016, giving the current SLS AMG GT3 another year to gobble up victories before it takes a drive across the Styx. More exciting for those who only suit up on Sunday for church, whispers are that a we'll also get a streetable version of the race car - not called "GT3" because that alphanumeric is owned by Porsche, but definitely aimed at its Stuttgart rival. AMG boss Tobias Moers told Autocar the objective for that car is "more power, less weight, better aerodynamics and different suspension but the targets should be the power to weight ratio, drivability, lap time and tremendous feel." Those targets will be aided by a carbon fiber weight-loss regime of up to 220 pounds and more power - perhaps 550 horsepower - from the currently "very understressed" engine. Supposing that still isn't enough for you, then the Black Series version should curl your toes, if you can wait until 2018 for it.
Cadillac ATS-V and Mercedes-AMG C63 S pitted Head to Head
Fri, Sep 4 2015Our favorite (and only) Autoblog-alum-turned-Motor Trend staffer is back with another Head to Head video, this time pitting the Cadillac ATS-V with the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. This performance machine shootout is ostensibly a way to figure out which of these new super sedans will earn the right to go toe-to-toe with the undisputed champion of its segment, the BMW M3. In reality, it's just a really good excuse to put three of the hottest sedans on the market on video at the same time... and there's certainly nothing wrong with that. Jonny Lieberman spends time in each of the two new challengers on the road, picking apart their powertrains, chassis and driving dynamics on the kinds of twisty roads drivers of these cars will relish. Then, he hands the keys off to Randy Pobst, who sort of acts as an unmasked version of a certain tame racing driver, except that he talks and has a personality. 0-60 and quarter-mile times are equated, braking performance is measured and scores are tallied before the two sport sedans end up at Willow Springs raceway. Interestingly enough, the car that proves (just slightly) faster at the race track isn't the car that wins the comparison. Curious? We're not going to spoil it for you. Check out the video, above. Then, for more action of these two machines, check out the videos just below.
