This Mercedes Benz 300 SD Turbo Diesel starts up quick reliable transportation still keeps purring after 34 years

The vehicle has an engine from a 1984 300 D with 160,000 miles. Dashboard has a few small cracks from sun that's why I have a dashboard cover but normal for a 34 year old car in Texas. Tire wear is about 70% will need new tires soon. Paint is a one year old the original color was chocolate brown new color is a Mercedes tuxedo black. Front seats are original and a brand new back seat 1 year old took it to a company that reupholsters euro cars. Transmission shifts excellent no leaks.

Does leak oil about 4 drops very minimal nothing major normal for a 34 year old diesel car. Does have a small vacuum leak for doors but all doors lock with no problem if done manually. Trunk locks as well original color was a chocolate brown. Doesn't have working AC compressor it went bad and don't have time. Heater works excellent as you can see on video missing moulding on driver side near fender well or left driver side wheel someone stole it while I was grocery shopping and when I came back moulding was gone luckily I had the car locked unfortunately never caught the thief.

Upgraded Euro headlights still have original working round head lights in trunk. This car still has plenty of more life in it has gotten me from point A to B without a problem just regular oil changes, hand car wash don't trust a car wash machine with those giant rollers and given it TLC the way a Classic Mercedes Deserves to be treated.

All windows work I just don't roll them completely down as with my W126 first car I rolled window completely down when ordering food at a drive through the plastic shoes for window regulators become weak with slamming doors as little kids do and don't know how to properly close these heavy doors which is a NO NO for any German Car well that broke and learned to never do that again and was kind of expensive to repair.

No rust under car. Not in a hurry to sell this car I really love it has been very good to me.  I m selling way below what's its worth if you go to NADA.com the condition of the car is above average condition and valued at over $10,000 and low value at over $6,350 but I m selling it at a fair reasonable offer considering our nations economy.

Not many of these cars around anymore and certainly not with a healthy running and purring 1984 W123 Chassis 300D engine which was in high demand & production since the 1980s and sold thousands because of  high consumer satisfaction reviews and well known for its engine reliablity for the Diesel W123's models as well as the solid W116 300 SD and only Diesel model in that chassis.

I m selling this car from my Mercedes and BMW collection and don't need that many its just I love Mercedes and BMW's and Audi's they're excellent well built and engineered solid cars and when I see a good offer, clean car, strong engine I right away take advantage of that opportunity.

Yes I m the owner selling this car have clean title in hand. No Accidents Clear clean title private listing. Not an annoying car salesman here So no car dealer fees or any of those other crazy fees they charge.

Missouri Mercedes dealer offering free Smart with every SLS AMG purchase

Wed, 05 Dec 2012

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is an exquisite sports car that probably needs no help flying off dealer lots, even with a starting price of almost $200,000, but Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City has come up with an interesting incentive to sweeten the deal. For buyers who purchase a new SLS AMG from dealer stock before the end of the year, the dealership is throwing in a new Smart Fortwo from its inventory at no charge... with a required coupon no less.
In addition to being a great tactic to get a little free press, the spare car also makes sense as an alternative to the SLS, which measures more than 15-feet long - almost twice the length of a Fortwo - and has a 563-horsepower engine that sucks down gas at the rate of 13 miles per gallon in city driving (and even that's provided you don't give in to the devil on your shoulder). Plus, at the end of the day, this really isn't that big of an incentive. Being given a slow-selling $12,490 car for the purchase of a model starting at $199,500 represents about a six percent incentive, which is along the lines of a $1,900 rebate for a $30,000 car.
To get the free Smart, just visit the Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City Facebook page, redeem the coupon and then go buy yourself a new SLS AMG. Congratulations!

Rain prolongs the Championship battle | 2016 Brazilian Grand Prix recap

Mon, Nov 14 2016

Rain and an old-school circuit are the antidotes to Formula 1's constricting technical regulations and Tilke tracks. At Brazil's Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace – otherwise known as Interlagos – rain Saturday night and on race day washed away everyone's careful plans, except for those of the man at the front of the pack. Lewis Hamilton put his Mercedes-AMG Petronas ahead of the field throughout the weekend. On Sunday, a storm-delayed start behind the Safety Car assured Hamilton of a clean path to the lead and a clear track. The Briton didn't waste it, pulling out a gap on teammate Nico Rosberg behind, and Rosberg appeared to have no interest in going hard after Hamilton. Safety Cars and red flags kept resetting the gap to zero, though. After the Mercedes-AMG GT S led the first seven laps, it emerged again on Lap 13 for another six laps when Marcus Ericsson crashed his Sauber. Seconds after racing resumed, Kimi Raikkonen aquaplaned his Ferrari into the wall on the front straight. That caused the first red flag, leading to another eight-lap Safety Car interval, then a second red flag stoppage due to conditions on Lap 28, then three more Safety Car laps, and then, finally, racing again. Hamilton never surrendered his lead. The Briton changed tires once during a stoppage, and drove fast enough to cover the full race distance despite the intermissions. Afterward, he said "it was a very easy race." Rosberg had it harder, defending against the preternatural Max Verstappen in third. Barring misfortune it's already clear the Red Bull pilot has at least one Driver's Championship in his career future. In Brazil the young Dutchman drove like he's worthy of the hardware right now. After Verstappen passed Rosberg for second on Lap 34, the Red Bull driver pitted for intermediate tires on Lap 44 – a huge gamble in the conditions – coming back out in fifth. That tire wager failed, giving Rosberg a safe position in second when Verstappen had to pit for extreme wets on Lap 54 of 71. The teenager re-emerged in 16th. Over the race's final 17 laps Verstappen passed 13 drivers at six different places on track. He ran it close-but-clean a couple of times, especially when getting around Sebastian Vettel and Sergio Perez, but he was simply untouchable. Not only did the Dutchman score an amazing third place, he put in what could be the drive of the season.
