Up for sale is a timeless classic Mercedes diesel! I am listing this vehicle at NO RESERVE so the high bidder will own this bullet-proof sedan! The Mercedes starts up after a few cranks without a hitch. When the weather is cold, it cranks for a longer time and needs a boost/jump once in a while. It does ALWAYS start. The turbo spools up well and it has good acceleration for an old turbo diesel Benz. Like any old German car, the motor is not completely dry and has some wet spots/oil seepages. The transmission shifts through all gears including reverse and the car drives and stops as it seemingly should. The e-brake holds ok. The tires are older and could use replacement/balancing. I also heard occasional squeaks from the suspension while driving. The climate control with the fan etc. does work as far as I can tell. All the power windows go up and down fine, The radio is missing as seen in the pictures. All power funtions aside from the power antenna work, to the best of my knowledge. The exterior paint is weathered from the Colorado sun. It has a couple of surface rust spots as seen in the photos as well as multiple spots where rust repair was performed as seen in the photos. Please see the pictures for exterior condition. As far as the interior, the front seats are cracked, and the dash has cracks in multiple places as seen in the photos, overall the interior is in fairly good condition for a 30 year old vehicle. It also has four (4) keys and owners manuals. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability and knowledge. It is being sold as is with no warranty or guarantee of any kind expressed or implied. Feel free to contact me to see the car in person or set up an inspection from a third party. I will assist in any way possible. This vehicle is not for someone who is not OK with quirks of old German cars. You can come pick up the vehicle in person, or set up shipping. All pick up/transportation arrangements must be made by the buyer. If you need to be picked up from Denver International Airport, we are more than happy to do so. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due with 48 hours of the auction end. We charge a $150 dealer processing fee on EVERY vehicle sale which covers paperwork and a Colorado temp tag. Do not bid unless you intend to buy. The full balance is due, and vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of the auction end. The high bidder will own this vehicle. I have a clear signed title in hand ready to go. Feel free to contact me with any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks for looking!

Mercedes-Benz USA confirms relocation to Atlanta
Tue, Jan 6 2015Porsche, you no longer have Atlanta to yourself. Mercedes-Benz USA has confirmed that it will be moving its corporate headquarters (shown above) from Montvale, NJ, to Georgia's most populous city. This is the second high-profile corporate relocation in the past year, as Mercedes follows in the footsteps of Toyota, which announced its relocation from California to Texas back in April (Subaru also announced a relocation, but it was just four miles away from its old offices). According to the German company, executives and their staff will relocate to an interim facility in the city's Central Perimeter until a brand-new, long-term home is completed in 2017. Around 1,000 employees will be impacted by the move, although Mercedes didn't mention if any employees would be let go as a result of the relocation. The company won't be abandoning New Jersey completely, as it will retain "several operational areas" in both Montvale and Robbinsville, NJ. As Mercedes USA CEO Steve Cannon explains, there are a number of good reasons for the company's relocation. "Atlanta is a premier city which places us closer to our ever-growing Southeast customer base, our port in Brunswick, Georgia, and to Mercedes-Benz US International, our Alabama manufacturing facility, which accounts for half of the vehicles we sell here in the US," Cannon said in a statement. "For our employees, Atlanta offers a strong quality of life, terrific schools and wonderful cultural and recreational opportunities." Mercedes-Benz USA Announces Move of Corporate Headquarters to Atlanta Several operational areas to remain in New Jersey including Parts Distribution Center and Regional Office January 06, 2015 - MONTVALE, N.J. Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today announced that it will relocate its corporate headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia, in a move designed to better serve its growing customer base and strengthen the company's position for long-term, sustainable growth. MBUSA executives and staff will relocate from its primary facility in Montvale, New Jersey, to a temporary facility in Atlanta's Central Perimeter on an interim basis. The company will construct a new, state-of-the-art headquarters expected to be completed in early 2017. MBUSA plans to begin moving employees starting in July 2015. The move, which will affect approximately 1,000 employees, will be phased to help minimize any disruption to business operations. Several operational areas will remain in both Montvale and Robbinsville, New Jersey.
Ferrari hails Vettel as the 'moral winner' after 'stolen' F1 race
Mon, Jun 10 2019MONTREAL — Ferrari hailed Sebastian Vettel as the moral winner of the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday while the German raged at being robbed of victory by race stewards. "They are stealing the race from us," the angry German exclaimed over the team radio as he was told he was under investigation after running off the track and into the path of Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton. Vettel was given a five-second penalty, finishing first but having to hand victory to Hamilton. "No, no, no. Not like that. You have to be an absolute blind man, you go on the grass how are you supposed to control your car? This is the wrong world," the Ferrari driver yelled after being notified of the penalty. "It's not making our sport popular, is it? I mean, with these kind of decisions," he told Sky Sports television after the podium ceremony. He had earlier parked up in the wrong place and stormed straight to the Ferrari hospitality area before returning to the pitlane. There he rearranged the numbers in front of the cars, switching the 'one' board from Hamilton's car to the space where his Ferrari should have been. "If it had happened to me I would have kicked the damn board and thrown it against the car," said Mercedes F1 boss Toto Wolff, whose team has now won the first seven races of the season. "I am of course biased for Mercedes, and I say there is a rule that says you need to leave a car's width when you go off the track and I think his instinctive reaction was 'I need to protect that position' and maybe that was a tiny bit too far." Wolff said he was surprised by the stewards' decision but also defended them. The officials included experienced Italian racer Emanuele Pirro, a former F1 driver and five times winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours sportscar race. "I think the stewards up there need to be people that need to be supported," said Wolff. "There is Emanuele up there, it doesn't go any more professional and experienced than Emanuele. Said Vettel, "People want to see us race and that was, I think, racing. I hope the people come back, that's the main thing obviously... it's just a shame when we have all these little funny decisions." Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto indicated there could be no appeal by the Italian team but said there was no doubt about the real winner. "It's not down to us to decide, and that's the sport. But certainly if you look at the crowd, everybody I think today believes that there was nothing Sebastian could have done," he said.
