This is a beautiful 87 Mercedes with the EXTREMELY rare 2.5 engine
WITH MANUAL transmission! You can look for these but they aren't easy to
find as most are automatics. This vehicle was purchased from the
original owner. I looked for this car for a few years before I finally
found one. What I didn't know if that there isn't a tremendous amount of
room for a big guy. I used to own a 240d that had much more room. My
other car is a Expedition and this 190 is a bit tight as I'm 6' 5". The
car has given me back pains trying to drive it for extended periods. It
runs well and starts reliably every time. It has the typical Mercedes
jackpoint rust. There is NO rust on or through any of the floorboards.
One of the fuel lines had a leak and the line was replaced with a new
part from Mercedes. Some of the vacuum lines have been replaced. The
vehicle has a second set of tires that come with it. The clutch and
slave cylinder were recently done and some exhaust and driveshaft work.
The vehicle passed inspection without issue. Everything works except
rear windows, dash clock and tach. The odometer doesn't work but the
speedometer does. The a/c and heater fan are quirky at times. Many of
the issues the vehicle has are minor adjustments. The paint shines
pretty good but does have scratches as could be expected for its age.
This car should last for years with a loving owner. LOW NADA is $3700 on
this vehicle. I'm letting it go to a lucky new owner for LOW RESERVE.

Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG shows up to fight the hottest hatches [w/videos]

On the same day that Audi announces the unveiling of its new S3 Sportback at the Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz steals the spotlight by confirming that the all-new A45 AMG will also receive its official debut early next month. Starting life as the entry-level A-Class hatchback, the A45 AMG gets the full AMG treatment, which includes numerous performance, handling and styling upgrades.
Under the hood sits an AMG-tuned 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 breathing through a sport exhaust system helping the five-door produce 360 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired to a seven-speed AMG dual-clutch transmission and power is sent to the ground using 4Matic all-wheel drive. Mercedes-Benz says that the A45 AMG will be able to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in under 4.5 seconds and it will have a top speed of 155 mph; in the land of hot hatches, it doesn't get much hotter than that. For added performance and handling, AMG has retuned the A-Class' suspension and steering systems and equipped The A45 with a three-stage stability control system that is specific to this car.
Surprisingly, the exterior styling of the A-Class was already sporty enough that the new model doesn't receive too many changes to become the A45 AMG. The biggest alterations include black accents to the chin spoiler, rocker panels and mirror caps, black wheels with red-painted brake calipers and rectangular dual exhaust outlets. Inside, it doesn't take a trained eye to spot the differences. The flat-bottomed sport steering wheel and the numerous red accents throughout the cabin (including the seatbelts!) really help to make this AMG interior stand out; front passengers will also get sport bucket seats that appear to be more than supportive enough for even the most spirited driving conditions.
2014 Mercedes S-Class priced lower from $92,900*
Mon, 09 Sep 2013The massively overhauled 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will start at $92,900, not including a $925 destination fee, when it arrives at US dealers in October. That's a 2.8-percent drop over the 2013 S-Class, although Mercedes is fast to point out that a drop in price doesn't equate with a drop in equipment for the executive sedan.
Besides an extra 20 horsepower from the 4.6-liter, biturbocharged V8, the S550 sports a standard panoramic sunroof, keyless start, a rear-view camera and LED headlights, taillights and interior lights. Adding the German manufacturer's 4Matic all-wheel-drive system bumps the S550's price up to $95,900.
If the S550 doesn't quite cut the mustard, you can wait until November, at which point Mercedes will quite happily sell you the new S63 AMG 4Matic for $139,500. Power is also up on the S63, from a max of 563 ponies with an AMG Performance Package to 577 horsepower as standard on the 2014 model.

Not only did he get to pal around with Ian Callum and check out the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, but the denim-clad comedian also headed to The Quail to talk to some prominent figures in the modern sports car scene. Capping off the fun, he got to take a drive in a Mercedes-AMG GT S, too Perhaps the highlight of this show is a nearly 10-minute interview with Christian von Koenigsegg. The founder of the Swedish hypercar company digs deep into the Agera One:1's engineering details, relating interesting facts about the aerodynamics and transmission. In addition, Leno chats with Rob Dickenson of Singer about its newly reimagined Porsche 911 Targa, and he gets the latest scoop on the Acura NSX's progress from newly promoted Acura Vice President and General Manager Jon Ikeda.
