2001 Mazda Tribute Dx Sport, Very Clean Low Reserve! on 2040-cars
Gainesville, Florida, United States
2001 Mazda Tribute finished in Brilliant Silver with a light gray cloth interior. This Mazda is one of the cleanest used cars that I have seen in a long time! The paint is nice, with no noticeable dings or dents, and it appears to be all original. The seats and carpet are equally clean, with no stains or tears. The vehicle is equipped with a four cylinder engine, and a 5speed manual transmission, which makes for a very peppy, yet economical combination! The tires have lots of tread, the A/C is ice cold, and everything operates as it should! Just by looking at this Tribute, you can tell that it has been very well taken care of, with the only down side being, a lot of highway miles. The driver's window is not currently working, but you can hear the motor running, which would indicate the need for a new window regulator. (a fairly inexpensive repair) The shifter also has some play in it, but operates properly, and there is no problem finding any of the gears. I try to describe all of my vehicles as accurately as possible, but any and all questions are welcomed and indeed, encouraged. My name is Pat and my number is, (352)3638154 As with all of my listings, I reserve the right to end it early, as it is being offered for sale locally! I have set a very reasonable reserve on this truck, so you may bid with confidence! Thanks for looking, and Happy Bidding!

Mazda halts sales of CX-5 due to fire risk in crashes
Tue, Feb 2 2016The Basics: Mazda will recall 264,463 examples of the 2014-2016 Mazda CX-5 in the US. The Problem: The fuel filler pipe can rupture in a rear collision. This could cause a fuel leak, which is a fire risk. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. There are also no reports of fires. The Fix: Mazda has not yet specified the repair for the problem. If You Own One: Concerned owners can get a free loaner, demo, or rental vehicle until Mazda dealers repair the vehicle. More Information: Mazda also has a stop sale on new examples of the CX-5 until the company fixes the problem. On all 2014-2016 MY CX-5 vehicles, the fuel filler pipe could rupture during a rear collision, and could potentially cause fuel leakage. Approximately 264,463 vehicles are affected in the U.S. There are no reports of accidents or injuries occurring in the subject vehicles as a result of this condition. 2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:

Mazda reveals 25th anniversary edition MX-5 Miata alongside next-gen chassis
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Ford may be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mustang this week, but it's not the only automaker with a sports car icon to fete at this year's New York Auto Show. Mazda is also celebrating the 25th anniversary of the MX-5 Miata with an array of 15 classic models. It's also showing off the chassis for the next MX-5, and unveiling a special 25th Anniversary Edition.
The special edition is based on the retractable hardtop model with either manual or automatic transmission, Bilstein shocks, a metallic red paint job with contrasting black roof and an off-white leather interior. Naturally, special badging can be found inside and out to set it apart from the record 940,000 other MX-5s sold to date, and just 100 examples will find their way to US buyers.
Along with the two-tone special, Mazda is also showing off the new Skyactiv chassis and engine that'll underpin and power the upcoming next-generation MX-5 (as well as an as-yet-to-be-determined Fiat Group roadster if the two parties can work out their differences). With a lower center of gravity that's also closer to the middle of the car, the new chassis promises even better balance and a good couple hundred pounds of weight savings over the outgoing model. Check it all out in the press releases below.
