If you have been looking for a beautiful RX-8 with a 6-speed in excellent condition then you are going to LOVE my 2004 model with only 51k original accident free miles! This RX-8 is spotless inside and out and has obviously been well cared for and serviced and it all stock and not raced in any way. It was recently traded in at one of our major dealerships here in Ft. Myers where it was fully serviced and detailed. It has a clean Autocheck report showing no accidents or problems and it received a great score of 80 points out of an average rating of between 55-76 points so you know it has a great history and a nice clean Florida title. You should see this car in person, it truly looks as close to new as any 2004 car could. The RED Mazda paint is all original and has a deep Mazda shine with no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. The powerful Rotay engine runs smooth as silk and will run up to 9k RPM's! Everything is all factory original and stock and again not raced in any way. The clutch feels great and is easy to push and won't wear out your leg in traffic and the 6-speed shifts smooth as silk and makes driving fun. There are no shakes or rattles and it is tight as new. I'm sure this is the cleanest RX-8 around and with only 51k original miles it is just getting started! Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.

Chances are good that you, loyal Autoblog reader, have long since chosen to follow us on Twitter and 'like' us on Facebook. (If you haven't, feel free to take a second and do so right now.) Anyway, if you're one of our social media posse, you might have already heard that we're smack dab in the middle of Miata Month. We've gotten Mazda to loan us a couple of MX-5 Miatas, allowing us to say a protracted, tear-filled goodbye to the current generation (NC) of the beloved roadster, just before it exits stage right and ushers in the next generation.
You'll see a few more Miata Month items here on Autoblog after we've said our final farewell, but we absolutely wanted to make sure we created some great video evidence of our month, as well. Right down below, then, in its unfiltered-audio splendor, is the Autoblog Unplugged version of the 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata PRHT. Riding a motorcycle through high traffic can be a stressful experience. And we don't even want to imagine what it's like to have to actually pursue someone on a motorcycle. Fortunately, we don't have to. Officer Troy Gurley of the Florence, Alabama police force recently attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver, 24-year-old Justin Sanders, figured he could use his Mazda3 to outrun the bike cop. Turns out, not so much.
Gurley pursued Sanders for nearly five minutes as the Mazda driver ran stop signs, swerved through traffic and raced through residential neighborhoods, but the perpetrator couldn't shake the tenacious and experienced rider. Other units soon joined the pursuit, and Sanders thought it best to leave the protection of his car to attempt to flee on foot. From there, it didn't take officers long to apprehend him.
