When you place a bid on a vehicle, you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the   vehicle. You have already decided on the price you would like to pay for this vehicle based on the description, autocheck link and pictures listed above. This arrangement is   outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

We reserves the right to obtain and verify the registered information of all bidders participating in this auction. We also reserves the right to cancel any and all   bids at our discretion, or end the auction early if necessary. Furthermore, We shall not be liable for any such cancellation for any reason.

Bidder with   only negative feedback or bid retractions need not bother to bid on   our vehicles. These bids will be automatically rejected.

Bidder must be 18 years or older.

At end of   auction high bidder should contact seller within   24 HOURS TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PAYMENT AND PICK UP OR SHIPPINGand complete the   transaction within 5   days   of auctions end. These are the only terms for this auction as far as   completing this item. In other words at the end of FIVE days the item must be paid for. We will add a $169.00   dealer prep charge to the final bid price. This is to cover the cost of vehicle cleaning, phone calls, Fed-Exing,USPS of packages airport pick ups, up to 30 day storage and other document handling   costs.

You are welcome to come and pick the vehicle up as along as it is within the 5 days not 6. The vehicle can be stored for up to 30 days for personal pick up or transporter.

If transaction is not completed within this time, the SELLER CAN APPLY FOR NON PAYING BIDDER and item can be relisted or sold   to next highest bidder.

We have tried   to disclose all information known about   this vehicle for auction. Please be   advised that used vehicles will have   typical scratches and dings inherent. A USED CAR THAT IS ONLY THREE YEARS OLD WOULD SHOW MUCH LESS WEAR AND TEAR THAN   ONE THAT WOULD BE 10 YEARS OLD ECT, ECT.

We welcome a buyers inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Manufacturers   warranties may still apply. Extended   warranty may be available.

Out of state   buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes   and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Florida residents are subject to applicable tax for their area.

Mazda poaches designer Kevin Rice back from BMW

Kevin Rice left Mazda a baker's dozen years ago, but now he's back.
A graduate of the Transportation Design program at Coventry University (just across town from Jaguar headquarters), Rice worked his way up in the industry working for the likes of Opel and Italdesign Giugiaro before landing a job at Mazda. Between 1995 and 2000, he collaborated on such projects as the RX-8 and the 1999 Neospace concept that previewed the Mazda2 before moving on to BMW, where the new 3 Series and 4 Series were among the last projects he worked on during his 13-year tenure in Munich.
Now back at Mazda, Rice has been named the Japanese automaker's new creative director, charged with further honing the brand's KODO design language from its European headquarters in Oberursel, Germany. We're looking forward to seeing what he and his design team come up with in the coming years.

Miata driver pulls off hilariously diabolical move in fender-to-fender racing

Racing is all about finding the little advantages over competitors that allow you to get ahead. Sometimes those are legitimate means - like being able to take advantage of a better line through a corner - and other times drivers get a little more creative for a leg up over opponents. Sometimes things might even go a little too far. Case in point: just watch the opening of this Mazda MX-5 Cup race from Silverstone in the UK.
According to the YouTube description, we're riding with James Rogers in this video, and he appears to be pretty talented behind the wheel. Rogers has a great start from fifth that has him in third within just a few corners. He starts stalking the top two drivers, who are already having a fantastic race themselves, but then we see that the person in second is clearly willing to do whatever it takes to win. Just watch the video, and you'll see what we mean. Bravo (?) to that racer for some very quick, albeit fiendish, thinking.

Fiat reconsidering Mazda-based Alfa Romeo roadster? [w/poll]

Alfa giveth and Alfa taketh away. With apologies to Job (he has gone through a lot, after all), that's how things are looking at the Italian automaker - whether it's the promise of new products or its impending return to the North American market. But it's especially true when it comes to new roadsters.
While Alfa Romeo is expected to unveil the 4C Spider at the Geneva Motor Show this week, reports are now suggesting that its other roadster project is being called into question. That project is a joint venture between Fiat and Mazda, which was set to produce a version of its next MX-5 Miata as an Alfa Romeo, and was even changing the design to accommodate Alfa's requirements.
Now it appears, however, that the whole project in doubt. The problem seems to stem from Sergio Marchionne's pronouncements that, as long as he's in charge, there won't be an Alfa Romeo built outside of Italy.
