Rust free Arizona car. The car has been in the Southwestern desert since day one. It is completely rust free, exceptionally straight with
great panel alignment and gaps. The car was re painted in base coat clear coat in the factory color using all PPG products. It was color sanded to 3000 grit them buffed and polished. The finish (even though it is a boring white) is nicer than most show cars. The car is in very nice shape and runs fantastic. I would NOT hesitate to drive this car cross country at a moments notice. The car has 136,000 miles on it, but the motor only has 60,000 on a rebuild. The clutch assembly was replaced during the motor rebuild. Extras with the car. Upgraded dual exhaust system, (not obnoxiously loud), Mass Air flow meter, K&N Cold Air Intake, Adjustable Koni shocks and springs front and rear, Corbeau Suspension seats. The top is in excellent shape. Shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will help in any manner that I am able. So long as the car is paid for in full at the end of the auction, I will gladly store it for free. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly at 928-727-0287. Thanks I |

2014 Mazda6 recalled due to fuel overfill fire risk
Fri, 02 May 2014Mazda is recalling 19,000 Mazda6 sedans from model year 2014, over concerns that the fuel tanks can be filled up too much. What is it with Mazda and fuel tanks?
The big concern is, obviously, spillage when filling up. There's also a risk that a radical temperature swing could cause the fuel volume to expand, causing a full tank to spill over without the driver knowing about it. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin, if the fuel spills over, it could end up in something called the charcoal canister, which helps with the car's emissions. If it fills up the canister, it could leak out onto the road. None of this is really desirable.
The affected vehicles were all built between October 25, 2012 and May 9, 2013. It's unclear if there have been any fires due to this problem. Dealers should have been notified by now, while owners should begin receiving official recall notifications very soon.
Mazda to celebrate 25 years of MX-5 with 15 Miatas in New York
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Having first debuted at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989, the Mazda MX-5 Miata has been on the market now for an impressive 25 years. So to celebrate that quarter-century anniversary, Mazda is bringing no less than 15 examples of the legendary roadster from throughout its history to the New York Auto Show this year.
Mazda isn't saying just which versions of the MX-5 it's bringing to the Javitz center this year, but with three generations to choose from and over 900,000 units built and sold, there are plenty of examples - including production versions, special editions and concept cars.
What would really put the cherry on this birthday cake, however, would be if Mazda were to surprise us in Manhattan with the debut of the highly anticipated fourth-generation Miata that we're expecting to debut sometime this year.
