up for auction is my 2007 Mazda Speed6 (GT). I bought this car new in March of 2007 from the dealer and currently it has 3002 miles on it (it has never seen salt or snow). i took the car off the road about four years ago because it was getting scratches and dents (parking lot damage) which were very upsetting to me. it has always been my plan to fix the damages but financial constraints have kept me from doing such. i really hate seeing it waste away in my garage and i'd rather see someone enjoy it like i did when i first purchased it.

standard features:
4-Cyl, Turbo, 2.3 Liter
6-spd Manual Transmission
HID Lights, AWD, Traction Control, Stability Control, 4 Wheel ABS
Air Conditioning, Power Windows and Door Locks
Advanced Key-Less Entry and Ignition
3 Disc CD Changer (in dash) - Bose Speaker System
Leather Interior
Power Driver Seat
18" Alloy Wheels
Power Sliding Sunroof

aftermarket features (all professionally installed):
Custom Performance Engineering - Mazda MazdaSPEED6 3? SS Cat Back Exhaust System
Custom Performance Engineering - Mazda MazdaSPEED6 QKspl™ Downpipe
Custom Performance Engineering - Mazda MazdaSPEED6 Xcel™ Cold Air Intake
Custom Performance Engineering - Mazda MazdaSPEED6 xFlex™ Rear Differential Mount
Custom Performance Engineering - Mazda MazdaSPEED6 xFlex™ Rear Motor Mount
HKS - Mazda MazdaSPEED6 HKS Exhale™ BOV Kit
H&R Street Performance Coilover Kit (adjustable) - currently lowered about 2"
SPC Performance Adjustable Front Ball Joints
***i have all the stock parts as well if you wish to have them for no additional cost***

the not so good:
hit an animal while driving one night and had the front end repaired which is why the accident report shows a minor issue
right front alloy rim has some "curb rash" (see pictures)
right front lower bumper has a scrape (see picture)
driver side lower door molding has scratches (see picture)
left rear passenger door has a small dent (too hard to capture on a picture)
left rear "C" pillar has a small dent (too hard to capture on a picture)
right rear quarter panel has two dents - this was the damage that made me take the car off the road (see pictures)

feel free to email me for more information, more pictures or to view the auto in person. all offers and or trades (possibly a close to equally valued daily driver) will be considered - please feel free to make me one. car is sold as-is with no warranty - buyer pays shipping costs. thanks for looking.

On Jun-23-14 at 10:08:06 PDT, seller added the following information:

Mazda reveals new 'Game Changers' advertising campaign

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

Looking to highlight its unique and sporty mindset, Mazda is getting ready to launch its biggest advertising campaign since "Zoom-Zoom" became its tagline in 2000. The new campaign, entitled "Game Changers," will begin in May, and rather than focusing on its sporty past - like it did with Zoom-Zoom early on - the new ads will look at recent advancements made in building its future, including Skyactiv technologies and its new diesel race program, both of which involve its excellent new Mazda6 sedan.
As a part of the ads, Mazda will showcase game changers from the sporting world, including Dick Fosbury who changed how competitors perform the high jump and Laird Hamilton, who redefined how surfers attacked big waves. It doesn't sound like Zoom-Zoom is going away, but "Game Changers" will definitely feature heavily in the Japanese automaker's marketing moving forward. A few examples of the new ad campaign are posted in our gallery, and the press release is available below.

Mazda will sell a removable MX-5 Miata hardtop only to racers

Wed, Mar 22 2017

Before the advent of the power-folding hardtop NC or the newer MX-5 RF targa, you could buy a fiberglass hardtop to plop on your soft-top Miata. Expensive when new and rather rare, they command top dollar now. And moreover, Spec Miata racers have always sought them for use in that series. Now, what's old is new again, sort of. Mazda Motorsports will sell a removable hardtop for $4,420, but there's a catch. You have to purchase a MX-5 Cup Global race car to order one. A Mazda spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that non-Cup racers won't be able to purchase a new hardtop for their ND – and furthermore, since it's oddly shaped to clear the rollcage, they might not want to. Second-hand, who knows? Even though it's pricey, it'd offer a different experience than you get from the sexy RF. Related Video: Motorsports Mazda Convertible Racing Vehicles Performance mazda mx-5

2016 Mazda CX-3 is a 2 cute ute

Tue, 18 Nov 2014

One day removed from our latest round of spy photos, Mazda has finally lifted the veil on its 2016 CX-3 crossover, giving us our very first glimpse at the Mazda2-based entry into the rapidly expanding world of subcompact crossovers.
Mazda's KODO design language is once again on display, presenting some increasingly familiar styling touchstones including a five-point grille that integrates neatly with the front headlights to present an almost protruding snout that's both clean and complex. Like previous KODO designs, the CX-3's profile features swoopy character lines that highlight the wheel arches and a higher beltline. Mazda has cleverly chosen to black out the CX-3's D-pillar in favor of a floating roof look, a design decision that adds to the model's fashionable styling. It's the rear of the design that borrows most heavily from the Mazda2, largely in the shape of the headlights and rear hatch.
Globally, under that fashionable sheetmetal sits Mazda's 2.0-liter Skyactiv four-cylinder that can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic. Unfortunately, in North America, it looks like we'll only get the automatic. Regardless of gearbox, power can be sent to an optional next-gen all-wheel-drive system that uses the active torque control system found on the Mazda CX-5. Like the Mazda2, front-drive is standard.
