2007 Mazda 6 S Wagon 5-door 3.0l Dvd on 2040-cars
Mantua, Ohio, United States
I am selling my beloved Mazda 6 wagon because there is now a Honda minivan in my driveway. As if driving a
wagon wasn't bad enough.
This is an awesome car. First of all, Mazda did not make a lot of these in a wagon, I have yet to see another on the road. It looks very sharp, and when you drive it you'll get the whole zoom zoom thing. It has a 3.0 V6 that makes 212 HP, a six speed shift-able automatic and 17 inch Mazda wheels. This is one of those cars that on a long trip you will look down at the speedo and say, "Oh Shoot, I'm doing 90, and I didn't know it". Handles very very well on the highway, power to spare, and lots of room. The mileage is 72k,and it has never been in an accident to my knowledge. I purchased the car in 2012 with 43k. I have used nothing but synthetic oil and 93 octane since I have owned it. The back tires are Goodyear Eagles, about 3 months old and I would be happy to put new tires on the front. Brakes were done in March and everything works as it should. Traction control and 4 wheel ABS Power windows with auto up and down , windows can roll down with fob or key in drivers door 6 disk CD changer in dash, stereo controls on steering wheel power driver seat cruise control 2 sets of original Mazda, real deal, floor mats. (regular and rubber mudguard) dual DVD players in the headrests. watch the same movie on both screens or 2 different movies with wireless headsets. The sound can also be played through the car stereo. You will not hear a peep out of your kids on long trips. Also has a video game and 2 controllers that are not pictured, but I have them and it all works. The original headrests are also included. well equipped and fun to drive. THE VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT SAYS THAT THERE IS A LIEN ON THE CAR, BUT I HAVE A CLEAR AND CLEAN TITLE IN HAND, THERE IS NO LIEN ON IT. 330-732-7768 Please ask your wife, girlfriend or mother for permission and have all funds available. This is a great car, I am not wasting your time, please don't waste mine. |

Mazda-Toyota partnership has us dreaming of a rotary hybrid
Mon, Aug 7 2017As you may have seen, Mazda and Toyota are going to be working a little more closely with each other. In their announcement, the two companies said they'd be building an American assembly plant together, and working on electric vehicle technology. But one of the companies' goals got our mental gears turning: It's listed as "Expand complementary products," and it's left very open-ended. The companies say they "will further explore the possibilities of other complementary products on a global level." These are in addition to Mazda providing the Mazda2 to Toyota as the Yaris iA, and Toyota providing Mazda a commercial van to sell in Japan. So what could these future complementary products be? We have a couple of ideas, one that's ludicrous but awesome (and, sadly, probably won't ever happen), and the other grounded in reality. Let's start with the fun one. What's the one thing Mazda fan has been wanting for years? A rotary sports car, of course! And while Mazda has repeatedly said that it has a small band of engineers plugging away at the spinning triangle problem, the odds of Mazda putting it into production have been slim. The inherent thirst of the rotary would make it tough to introduce when fuel economy regulations have been tightening. Plus, Mazda is a small company that needs to stretch every dollar, and having a one-off engine not based on anything else would be expensive. How could Mazda get around these obstacles? This is where the partnership with Toyota comes in, in our long-shot fantasy. Aside from having deep pockets, Toyota has a wealth of knowledge in the realm of hybrids. Thus, why not a rotary hybrid? Electrifying their oddball motor would fix two issues. One is obviously the fuel economy, since the gas engine wouldn't have to run all the time. The other is in providing torque. Rotaries infamously have little torque, especially down low, so adding an electric motor would allow this hypothetical rotary sports car to have a grunty low end, while still providing the Everest-high redline rotary fans like. The idea would be sweetened with the solid-state batteries that Toyota is developing, which could provide lots of electricity without weighing a ton. The rotary-electric mashup notion isn't totally alien to Mazda, either, since the company created an electric Mazda2 with a rotary engine for a range extender — albeit for different reasons. The company even filed a patent for the rotary range extender recently.
Mazda6 diesel delayed until April
Fri, 13 Sep 2013Diesel enthusiasts waiting on the new Skyactiv-D-powered Mazda6 will have to wait a bit longer. The shapely fuel-efficient four-door has just had its North American launch pushed back to April, due to delays in emissions testing. Mazda had originally planned to launch the Mazda6 diesel before the end of this year, making the four- to five-month delay a rather serious one.
Mazda's senior vice president of US operations, Robert Davis, told Mazda employees in a letter obtained by Automotive News that, "final certification testing - the results of which are looking encouraging - is taking longer than we had initially expected." Following this letter, Mazda made an official announcement:
"The on-sale date for Mazda6 SKYACTIV-D clean-diesel has been moved to late-Spring 2014, to accommodate final emissions testing and certification. We are pleased with the ongoing development and are excited to launch this much-anticipated vehicle in North America. 2014 Mazda6 sales continue to exceed both our expectations and our production abilities, and supplies of the car are short at dealers across the U.S. More information on the SKYACTIV-D clean diesel Mazda6 will be available closer to the on-sale date."
A '70s F1 car and a first-gen Miata make an amazing lovechild
Mon, Aug 22 2016For no apparent reason, this artist asked what if Mazda built an MX-5-based F1 car? And what if it were from the 1970s, the glory days of James Hunt and Niki Lauda? Here's what it'd look like. Look at it! Look at its adorable little eyes and the huge tires. And the intake! The rendering is by YasidDesign and was done live in front of Facebook followers in a Facebook Live session. It borrows heavily from 1970s F1 cars – it looks like a March 741 served as the basis for the open-wheel portion – and blends it effortlessly with MX-5 styling cues. It all came together in about 90 minutes. Watching the process is remarkable, especially considering YasidDesign is doing the bulk of the work live while taking comments and advice from people on Facebook. Check out the video and YasidDesign's other works on his Facebook page. Related Video:
