Up for sale is my 2006 Mazda 5 Touring vehicle.  I am the second owner of this vehicle and it was VERY WELL taken care of.  I purchased this Mazda 5 from the dealer and was given the car fax to the vehicle.  The carfax will show that this vehicle had every recommended service completed at the Mazda dealership!!! I continued maintaining the vehicle at the Mazda dealership as well every since I purchased this vehicle in 2011. You can feel easy knowing that this vehicle has been properly maintained by the dealership since the vehicle was originally purchased when new. I purchased this vehicle for my wife and we absolutely LOVED it!!! We took this vehicle on many trips and loved the comfort and the fact that it has bucket seats in which they all recline. The car is rated for 25MPG on the highway.  However, I usually averaged around 27- 28 while travelling on road trips.  Majority of the miles are highway miles and you can see from the photos that this car was well taken care of.  I am only selling this because my wife wanted an SUV and I recently purchased one for her.  I want to keep it, but I now have 4 cars in my driveway and only 2 drivers.  There is NO rust on the vehicle, and a few very small scratches consistent with the age of the vehicle. However, there are very few and very minor. There are no oil leaks and the air condition runs extremely cold!! This is a SMOKE FREE vehicle!!  The Kelly Blue Book RETAIL value is $7090.00.  Purchase this for thousands less.  If you look at the other dealers on here they are selling the same car for $9900.00. I purchased this from Lustine Dodge/Jeep dealership in 2011 and was furnished the carfax in which I have showing this car being properly maintained. I'd be willing to bet the other cars haven't been serviced as well as this one.

This vehicle has reclining bucket seats, AM/FM 6 CD changer, power moon roof, remote keyless entry, rear spoiler, deluxe cloth upholstery, floor covering carpet in the loading area, front seat center armrest, heat reflective glass, rear seat center armrest, tinted glass on cabin, rear and side, ventilation system with re circulation setting and micro filter, 12V power outlet, below seat storage under rear seat, cargo area light, clock, cruise control, front seats cup holders fixed, rear seats cup holders pop out, 3rd row seats cup holders fixed, floor mats, lockable glove compartment, two height adjustable head restraints on front seats, rear seats and 3rd row seats, remote power locks includes trunk/hatch, vehicle speed proportional power steering, front power windows with one touch, rear power windows, remote fuel filler door release, front seat back storage, body side molding, five-door Minivan body style, doors driver and front hinged, doors rear driver and passenger sliding, delayed/fade courtesy lights, luxury trim allow look on dashboard, driver and passenger vanity mirror, low fuel level warning, low washer fluid level warning, emission control level LEV, external dimensions: overall length 181.5 overall width (inches). 69.1 overall height. 64.2 ground clearance. 5.5 wheelbase. 108.3 front track. 60.2 rear track. 59.6 and curb to curb turning cir, multi-point injection fuel system. 15.9 gallons.

A $250.00 non refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours of the sale. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance within 5 days from the end of the auction.  Please come out and look at the vehicle prior to purchasing.  The title is clear to this vehicle.  I will accept payment in cash or certified check.  If you pay by regular check, I can not give you the vehicle or title until the funds clear.  Unlike the dealers selling the same car on here, I am not charging 200.00 processing fees and I am not charging you 9900.00 for the same exact vehicle.  If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 443-221-1208.

Buyer must pick the vehicle up from my location.  I will not ship this to another location.  If you fly in to pick the vehicle up, I can pick up from the BWI airport or AMTRAK Station in Baltimore MD.  Contact me prior to purchasing, to arrange pickup.

Xcar tries to figure out what makes the Miata so great

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

Over the past 25 years and 3 model generations, the Mazda MX-5 Miata has shown that you don't have to be the best to be a massive success. The little, Japanese roadster has never been the absolute peak of automotive performance, but it's precise handling, good reliability and frugal running costs have helped make it a star. Autoblog recently tried to give you the experience of driving one on video, and now Xcar Films has made its own in an attempt to show what makes this droptop an icon.
As Xcar puts it, the Miata isn't the world's best sports car, but it is the world's favorite. When they were originally designing the roadster, Mazda's engineers took everything that made British droptops from the '60s great, and junked all of the stuff that made them a terror to own. The result was a car that would start up everyday with no fuss and get drivers wherever they needed to go with a huge grin on their face.
The fourth-generation Miata is imminently on the way for its September 3 unveiling, and the very early rumors indicate that Mazda doesn't plan to rock the boat too much with the latest one. It supposedly rides on a longer wheelbase and wider track but with the weight trimmed by over 200 pounds. Check out Xcar's video for a primer on MX-5 history and why the automotive world loves this little roadster.

2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata in motion for the first time

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

By now, you've already poured over the details (however few there may be) and images of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. For us enthusiasts, it's arguably the most important new car debut of the year, and for Mazda, it marks the 25th anniversary of its iconic roadster - something that's being celebrated all weekend long out in Monterey, CA.
Our resident Miata owner, Chris Paukert, is out in sunny California and just passed along this video, showing all four generations of the MX-5 in motion (slowly), on the road at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This is the first time the 2016 MX-5 has been shown driving under its own power, and it will join a wealth of other roadsters as Mazda attempts to break the world record for most Miatas in one place at one time.
Have a look at the emailed-from-an-iPhone-quality video above, and then take a moment to read Paukert's own notes from the ND Miata's live showing earlier this week, here.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.
