2010 Black Mazdaspeed 3 Sport with 61,000 miles. 6 speed manual transmission. Car comes with Bose audio and stock in dash navigation. Car is in very good condition, and runs strong. Regular oil changes every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. New Firestone Firehawk tires installed 8,000 miles ago. This car has a salvage title - Please see *NOTE* below for more details. Please contact me if you would like to see the car in person. This car is a beauty, and runs great. The engine runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly, and turbo pumps out some amazing power! This car is FAST! Comsetic Condition: Above average wear for a car with 60,000 miles. There is a hairline dent in the rear driver side door (see picture) that is about 2-3 inches long. It is only noticeable at a certain angles, and does not draw attention. There is also an area on the passenger underside with paint scuffs (see picture). *NOTE* This car has a salvage title. I am the second owner of this car. The car was in a fresh water flood in Oregon with the first owner. Water DID NOT get into the engine. I have owned this car for over a year, and have never experienced a single issue with the engine. As said before, the engine runs GREAT! All carpet, seats, etc were removed to clean up water damage. New Mazda CX-4 teaser shots emerge ahead of Beijing debut
Wed, Apr 6 2016The Kodo styling language seen on last year's Koeru concept seems to translate well to a production car, judging by these teaser images of the upcoming CX-4 from Mazda's Chinese press site. And, as has been seen on several recent Mazdas, concept cars can be quite close to their eventual production versions. An earlier press release implies the CX-4 should be seen as a more coupe-like counterpart to the CX-5, with some of the MX-5's characteristic and often emphasized jinba ittai feel injected into it – if the MX-5 is all about the rider and horse being one, the CX-4 would just be a slightly bigger steed. The 19-inch wheels and LED headlights are some of the more attention-grabbing details on the car. Inside, there's a head-up-display and a MZD connect infotainment screen as seen on other current models. The hardware on the "Exploring-Coupe SUV", as Mazda call it, should match the CX-5: 2.2-liter SKYACTIV-D turbodiesels in some markets, 2.0 and 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G gasoline engines in most. There will also be a choice of front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. The Beijing Motor Show opens to the public on April 29th, so we won't have to wait a whole lot longer to see the whole thing. Feds investigating 2010-11 Mazda CX-9 CUVs over braking issues
Mon, 17 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating 62,000, 2010-2011 Mazda CX-9 models over brake problems. The government safety watchdog says it has received seven complaints of an observed loss of power braking power to stop the crossover, according to the The Detroit News.
The NHTSA complaints say that the problem causes a hard pedal, increased braking effort and reduced braking effectiveness. Some complaints allege that they hear a hissing noise during braking similar to the sound of air leaving the tires. No injuries or crashes have been reported.
"As always, we are fully cooperating with NHTSA on their investigation. We cannot comment further at this time," said Mazda spokesperson Tamara Mlynarczyk to The Detroit News.
