Rebuilt title. It can be hard to finance a rebuilt title car, so please do not bid unless you are paying cash or already have your financing lined up.
With that out of the way, this has been a great car for me despite the rebuilt title.
I bought the car after it was repaired with 19,600 miles on it. Current mileage is just over 39,400 (will go up slightly as I'm still driving the car until it sells). The car hasn't given me any problems in the 20k miles I have driven it including long roadtrips to Arkansas, Arizona, Mississippi and Colorado.
Car runs, drives, stops and shifts good. I have always run full synthetic oil and it doesn't have any leaks and hasn't given me any problems.
Tires have good tread life left and are wearing evenly since I bought them new at about 24k miles.
Front and rear brake pads both have tons of pad life left.
Mostly stock with the only mods being:
Corksport Intake/Turbo Inlet Pipe
Corksport Rear Motor Mount Insert
Issues:
-CD player doesn't work (says "check disk" when you select CD mode), Radio and AUX input work perfectly (Aux is what I use 90% of the time to play music from my ipod) so I never replaced it since I don't use the CD player function.
-Washer fluid tank has a small leak when it is filled more than half full (system still works and sprays liquid properly, you just can't fill it all the way).
-Small cigarette burn in passenger front seat (car does not smell of smoke at all, this burn was there when I bought the car and the car has never been smoked in since I've owned it.
-As mentioned, car is a rebuilt title due to a previous front end collision.
-When I got an alignment a couple years ago, the tech did not set the steering wheel to perfect dead center (you'll only notice this on the highway when going straight the wheel is ever so slightly to the left). I didn't notice the tech didn't reset it until I had already moved from Arizona to Texas and It didn't bother me enough to get another alignment done. Car drives fine and tracks good, just needs the steering wheel adjusted.
-a few minor paint chips/dings typical of any used car, but nothing major or very noticeable (wanted to point this out as this isn't a "perfect" condition vehicle, but what used car really is?)
-crack on dash by GPS antenna from summer heat (this is on the front of the dash and not the main part where you're constantly looking at it. I almost forgot to include it when listing the flaws)
-scuff in window tint on back window
I tried to take pictures of the flaws as best I could, so please look at all the pictures in the listing. The car is in good shape, but I try to be thurough in describing it since often times buyers are not able to check the car out until it's time to pick it up and take it home due.
Bonus items:
Brand New set of iridium sparkplugs
Extra Oil Filter
Brand new set of Rear Hawk Performance Brake Pads
Special Oil filter wrench socket
This has been a good reliable car even with the rebuilt title. I have tried to be as comprehensive as I can in describing the car and any defects it has. Car is in overall good condition, but is a used vehicle. Only selling because I upgraded to a Corvette and don't need the extra vehicle. Any questions please ask. Thank you.

'Ringbanana' Miata is improbable 9-minute Nurburgring car
Wed, Aug 12 2015The combination of being inexpensive, capable, reliable, and friendly to all skill levels makes the Mazda Miata one of the world's most popular platforms for motorsports, but the roadsters aren't exactly rocketships. What would it take to lap a ratty, first-gen example around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in less than nine minutes? We're not exactly sure, but the Ringbanana team intends to discover the answer. The project is the type of thing that gets dreamed up after a few too many pilsners: buy the cheapest running Miata available and put as little money necessary into the roadster to make it capable around the 'Ring. As the Best-Motoring-inspired intro explains, the Mazda is largely stock other than some Fulda performance tires, possibly aftermarket springs, and a stripped interior. The video above shows the baseline test, and the convertible manages a 9:21.8 circuit, which doesn't seem too bad as a start. The video below goes into far more detail about the project's genesis and its goal. Plus, the two hosts are quite entertaining when replying to the comments from the original clip. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to following along on Facebook to see what it takes to get the Ringbanana below nine minutes. This content is hosted by a third party. Miata driver pulls off hilariously diabolical move in fender-to-fender racing
Wed, 27 Aug 2014Racing is all about finding the little advantages over competitors that allow you to get ahead. Sometimes those are legitimate means - like being able to take advantage of a better line through a corner - and other times drivers get a little more creative for a leg up over opponents. Sometimes things might even go a little too far. Case in point: just watch the opening of this Mazda MX-5 Cup race from Silverstone in the UK.
According to the YouTube description, we're riding with James Rogers in this video, and he appears to be pretty talented behind the wheel. Rogers has a great start from fifth that has him in third within just a few corners. He starts stalking the top two drivers, who are already having a fantastic race themselves, but then we see that the person in second is clearly willing to do whatever it takes to win. Just watch the video, and you'll see what we mean. Bravo (?) to that racer for some very quick, albeit fiendish, thinking.
Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?
Thu, 25 Sep 2014People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
