Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States
hey, I like cars. I like Japanese cars, but I love Mazdas. they may not be number one, but I am convinced they try the hardest ~!~ this little mazda 3 is a great example of this and it runs and drives better than it looks. 4 cylinder, auto, full power, FWD, ABS, CD and more. 153k miles but it drives near new. full function dash and gauges, great heat, stereo, perfect cloth and seats, everything works well. clean, comfy, safe and reliable. tires are fine, just show normal, and light, even wear. motor is super smooth, great power and economy. clean engine compartment, great tranny, shifts and drives smooth. just a pleasure to drive... $20 gives you a half tank and drive for days. pleasant around town and a blast on the highway. no worries. look like a million for half price. hey, no shame to the game here, we all want a decent and reliable car for an eBay price, here you go ~!~ hit the remote, turn the key, gas and go. clean, damage, odor and wear free interior from a one owner home. smooth, solid and safe ride. great brakes and tires, correct alloy wheels, bright rotors, good pads, quiet exhaust, shiny paint, 2 factory keys and 2 remotes, owner books, clean ashtray and un-used light, rubber floor mats, tint glass, rear defroster, A/C, full power, new spare, tool kit, cloth, factory tint glass and more. I have bought and sold over 100 cars on eBay, and I am happy to continue. most of these cars for sale are new car dealer trades and or on consignment. as such, I am trying to avoid and keep down the number of re-lists, or not completed sales by high bidders. please do not bid or buy if you are short on cash, have many un-asked question or can't make arrangements with me regarding prompt payment and pick up. I can help with shipping, transport, motor vehicle paperwork, storage... all at little to no extra cost. happy to help, but please let me know ahead of time if you have an unusual situation ~!~ at time of pick up, you can expect car, keys, title, bill of sale, emission report, key(s), CT DMV Q-1 and booklets as available. on occasion, especially last minute or weekend schedules, the title may have to follow within the next business day or two, just to allow payment to clear. -----please see all photos carefully, I took every good and bad shot I could. not a new car, not perfect, not showroom.... but overall great shape and worth a buying. eBay sale price here ~!~ pay only what you want ~~. bid and buy, drive home. car is as shown and at my home; why not drive by, say hi and drive it to your house? clean title and all documents !! I am 40 miles from New York City, easy off i-95. j. bettes 800 Clinton ave bridgeport, CT 06604 203.258.3356 |

Evo pits Toyota GT86 vs. Mazda MX-5 Miata
Tue, Sep 8 2015The latest Deadly Rivals episode from Evo gets the Mazda MX-5 Miata and Toyota GT86 (our Scion FR-S) on track for a shakedown and a whole lot of drifting with Dan Prosser behind the wheel. The UK-spec coupes have slightly different power ratings than ours, but it's all close enough to be comparable. Their Miata has 158 horsepower (ours has 155), 148 pound-feet of torque, takes 7.3 seconds to run from naught to 60 62, and costs 22,695 pounds. The GT86, on the other hand, lists a 7.6-second dash to 60 62, and a base price of 25,000 pounds. The GT86 also weighs 400 pounds more than the Mazda. That's true in the States, too – curb weight for our MX-5 is 2,332 pounds, whereas the Scion FR-S comes in at 2,758 pounds. Both cars lauded for excellent shifting, but one of them has a better front end, a sweeter engine note, more controllable cornering behavior, and is faster by a tenth of a second around the test track. And Prosser doesn't mention it, but one has a lot more body roll. But it takes more than all that to make a winner, so check out the video above to see which is which. Watch a high-speed chase from a motorcycle-mounted officer's point of view
Sat, 13 Apr 2013Riding a motorcycle through high traffic can be a stressful experience. And we don't even want to imagine what it's like to have to actually pursue someone on a motorcycle. Fortunately, we don't have to. Officer Troy Gurley of the Florence, Alabama police force recently attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver, 24-year-old Justin Sanders, figured he could use his Mazda3 to outrun the bike cop. Turns out, not so much.
Gurley pursued Sanders for nearly five minutes as the Mazda driver ran stop signs, swerved through traffic and raced through residential neighborhoods, but the perpetrator couldn't shake the tenacious and experienced rider. Other units soon joined the pursuit, and Sanders thought it best to leave the protection of his car to attempt to flee on foot. From there, it didn't take officers long to apprehend him. You can watch the video below for yourself.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata in motion for the first time
Fri, 05 Sep 2014By now, you've already poured over the details (however few there may be) and images of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. For us enthusiasts, it's arguably the most important new car debut of the year, and for Mazda, it marks the 25th anniversary of its iconic roadster - something that's being celebrated all weekend long out in Monterey, CA.
Our resident Miata owner, Chris Paukert, is out in sunny California and just passed along this video, showing all four generations of the MX-5 in motion (slowly), on the road at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This is the first time the 2016 MX-5 has been shown driving under its own power, and it will join a wealth of other roadsters as Mazda attempts to break the world record for most Miatas in one place at one time.
Have a look at the emailed-from-an-iPhone-quality video above, and then take a moment to read Paukert's own notes from the ND Miata's live showing earlier this week, here.
