95' Mazda Miata M- Edition on 2040-cars
Nashville, Tennessee, United States
95' Mazda Miata M-Edition Hard to find M- Edition! Perfect car for the summer! Runs & drives excellent! - 126,xxx miles - 5 Speed Manual Trans - Power Windows - Cruise Control - Power Steering - CD player - A/C & Heat - New convertible Top - American Racing Wheels w/ Roughly 50% Tread Left - New Battery - New Seat Covers - New Pioneer Surface Mount Speakers Purchased from a mechanic who replaced the clutch, timing belt, brakes, and performed a tune up about a year ago. However, there are a few minor things that need attention. The gas gauge doesn't work. I purchased it like that. I was told by the previous owner that it's a ground issue. The speedo cable is noisy and bounces (a very common Miata issue & simple fix). There is a small dime sized chip in the front windshield. Also, the car has been repainted and there is a few tiny patches of rust on the rear passenger side fender that I have applied touch up paint to. The car is a blast to drive and very reliable. The M- Editions are becoming harder to find so don't pass this one up! Please contact me if you have any questions. Happy Bidding! Serious bidders only please. $500 deposit due within 24hrs after auction ends. The remainder will be due within 3 days after auction ends. Local pick up only! |

Mazda2 production fires up in Mexico
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Mazda has officially kicked off production of the next-generation Mazda2 at the company's new factory in Salamanca, Mexico. Alongside the auto assembly plant, operations have also commenced at the facility's engine machining factory.
"With the start of production of the all-new Mazda2, operations underway at the engine machining plant, and an increase in our annual production capacity, we now have an even stronger production framework capable of supplying global markets with Skyactiv products of the same high quality level as those made in Japan," Mazda de Mexico Vehicle Operation's President Keishi Egawa said in a statement. "At the same time, we are pleased to be able to make a contribution to Mexico's further economic growth."
MMVO joins Mazda's Hofu Plant in Japan and the Auto Alliance factory in Thailand, which commenced Mazda2 production in July and September, respectively.
Mazda's first profit in five years in sight due to weak yen
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Automotive News reports Mazda is set to turn a profit for the first time in five years. The automaker is more dependent on exports from Japan than other automakers based in that country, and as a result, it has long suffered at the hands of a strong yen. But the currency has declined in value by some 16 percent over the past six months and Mazda's shares have tripled in value to their highest level since 2008. Contrast this situation to a year ago when Mazda printed 1.22 billion new shares to raise cash. The move was equivalent to 70 percent of the company's then-outstanding stock, and values tumbled to record lows as a result.
Now that the yen has fallen to a value of around 96 per dollar, Mazda operations in the US are more profitable and the company now projects it will earn around $279 million for the next fiscal year. Automotive News says a one yen change against the dollar can have a 9.1 percent impact on Mazda operating profit compared to 4.7 percent at Subaru parent Fuji Heavy Industries or 3.1 percent at Toyota. Those automakers better insulate themselves from currency fluctuations with overseas manufacturing facilities.
Translogic 182: CXC Motion Pro II Racing Simulator
Thu, Aug 13 2015Translogic gets some seat time in the CXC Motion Pro II to test if the high fidelity racing simulator can impact our host's real-life track times. Host Jonathon Buckley hits the track at Auto Club Speedway of California in a 2015 BMW M4 to put down a baseline lap time before his virtual training session in the Motion Pro II. After learning the lines of the track in a simulated setting, Jonathon returns to the track to put his skills to the test. "We designed it, originally, as a professional training tool for race car drivers," says CXC Simulation's founder and president Chris Considine. "Make it authentic. Make it real." The Motion Pro II boasts "thousands of cars and track models," ranging from street cars, to rally and off-road vehicles. Will this hyper realistic racing simulator help Jonathon improve his lap time?
