NO RESERVE - AUCTION WILL NOT STOP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES-  HIGH BIDDER WINS.......................

1990 MAZDA MIATA CONVERTIBLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COLD AIR AND A HARD TOP !!!!!!! Most dealers would take off hard top and sell on ebay separately but I've decided to take a chance and leave them together for the highest bidder. This Miata runs good and shifts good. It has a lot of cosmetic flaws - weather strip on doors is bad, the soft top is poor and the glass rear window in soft top has come loose from top, soft tops are around $200 to replace with a plastic window, it has been repainted years ago and it lacks here and there, there are door dings here and there, the original alloys aren't as shiny as it was new, driver seat shows some wear, steering wheel shows wear, it's cold blooded when engine is cold - runs smooth but takes 2-3 minutes to reach it's optimum running potential. Could use possibly tune up and ????? tires are less than average.

The good - very inexpensive Miata with an automatic and hard top and COLD A/C !!!!! This air conditioning hasn't been rigged like most and others claiming - "oh it just needs Freon". A/C has been cold for months, We've had it for months and time to let it go to highest bidder. We acquired it on trade. Past lady driven. She purchased a Porsche Cayenne. Undercarriage is fine. The transmission pan shows some oil seepage - not leaking with puddles under car. Good little runabout or spend a few bucks and make it nicer?

WE HAVE A $249.50 DEALER FEE ADDED TO WINNING BID AND IT'S TAXABLE,TAXES VARY STATE TO STATE-EMAIL QUESTIONS.

THIS IS NOT A PERFECT MIATA AND IT'S SOLD "AS IS",IT'S A GOOD "DRIVER" OR SPEND SOME MONEY TO MAKE IT AS NICE AS YOU WANT.AUCTION IS NOT GOING TO STOP SO PLEASE DON'T ASK-HIGHEST BIDDER ROLLS HOME WITH IT. THANK YOU ! ROD STEARNS.

Consumer Reports declares most and least loved cars [w/video]

Wed, Dec 3 2014

Consumer Reports is crunching the numbers from its annual owner-satisfaction survey, and part of that process is finding out how attached drivers are to their cars. CR simply asks readers of models up to three years old if they would buy the same vehicle again in light of their entire ownership experience, and tallies the results. After looking at the responses for about 350,000 vehicles, it turns out that people really love a certain California-built, electrically powered luxury sedan. That's right, this year's the overall winner was the Tesla Model S with a whopping 98 percent of owners saying they would purchase another one (the Model S also won this award last year, with 99 percent satisfaction). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray came in a close second with 95 percent of drivers hoping to park another one in their garage. A few models weren't quite so favored, though. The Nissan Versa Sedan was the least loved model among its owners; a mere 42 percent said that they would purchase another. The aging Jeep Compass didn't do much better, with just 43 percent of drivers willing to buy the softroader again. On average, about 70 percent of owners say they would buy their car again, and only four cars ranked below 50 percent in CR's findings. Check out the video above to see some of the winners and losers in a few of CR's categories. If you're a subscriber, you can check out the full list on its website. A tuned 1973 Mazda RX-3 is all business on Petrolicious

Wed, Feb 17 2016

People with good memories might remember Savant Young and his highly modified 1973 Mazda RX-3 from an appearance on Jay Leno's Garage last summer. Now Petrolicious spotlights him and learns more about his amazing rotary coupe. After extensive upgrades, his car packs an estimated 400 horsepower, which is especially potent with only around 2,000 pounds to move around. Young thinks his Mazda is a perfect expression of his personality as a martial artist because it offers no frills and is all about business. This coupe looks ready for a fight, too, and sounds like a swarm of angry bees going down the road. Young works hard during the week but makes time to drive the RX-3 every weekend. We can understand why. A few hours enjoying this rotary could definitely erase some stress. Get a taste of this amazing machine in Petrolicious' latest video. If you want to experience another cool rotary, the channel profiled an RX-2 racecar from Australia last month. Related Video:

Mazda pits 2016 MX-5 Miata against the original

Fri, Jun 19 2015

Mazda has toiled admirably to keep the latest MX-5 Miata true to the spirit of the original. But just how close did the team come? To find out, the Japanese automaker brought two bookending examples of its iconic roadster down to a racetrack in Spain and put them in the hands of a couple of endurance racing drivers – Jade Paveley in the original, Owen Mildenhall in the new model. Whichever crossed the finish line first at the end of one lap would win. And because 25 years of progress wouldn't exactly make it a fair match, they gave the original a four-second head start. Watch the video above to see how it went down. Related Video:
