2000 Mpv, Leather, Sunroof, 4 Captain Seats, 6 Cd Changer, Rear A/c on 2040-cars
Washington, District Of Columbia, United States
This car has higher mileage, but I still use it everyday. The car is comfortable even for 7 adults, even the rear seats are comfortable for long trips. The car can even be used for camping, as the seats either remove or lay flat for sleeping. There is one power port in the front, and one in the rear. The driver's seat is worn, but I just threw a seat cover on the front seats. The a/c is blowing cold, it even kept up driving through Arizona in the middle of the summer. The windows are tinted to help with summer sun. The engine is making an odd noise, but I am still driving it; I am selling because of an upcoming move. The cd player doesn't seem to want to read cd's, but I never tried to fix it. The bucket seats in the middle can slide together to make a bench seat, and the rear seat folds flat into the floor. The radiator, water pump, and spark plugs/wires have recently been replaced, and the tires are less than 1 year old. I really enjoyed this car, but it's time to move.

2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata won't get power folding hardtop
Thu, 11 Sep 2014Following the reveal of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata, more and more details (and rumors - oh, the rumors) are coming out regarding exactly what's in store when the car finally goes on sale. Our own Chris Paukert had plenty to say about the exterior and interior, and we've now seen the first photo of the engine. But a new report from Automobile sheds even more light on the 2016 Miata - specifically, that the power folding hardtop model won't be available, at least initially.
Automobile reports that the 2016 MX-5 will only be offered with a cloth top, and an insider confirmed that the mechanism is light and accessible enough that it can be raised and lowered with one hand from inside the car. Mazda officials would not comment on the availability of a hardtop in the coming years.
That said, a hardtop Miata isn't out of the question. There will likely be some sort of fixed roof available - even as a one-piece, lift-off accessory - if only for club racing. Also, remember that the current NC Miata's hardtop is the only one on the market that doesn't take up any additional trunk space, so it's an attractive proposition for buyers. Currently, the power hardtop is only offered on the Club and Grand Touring MX-5 Miata trims.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata design walkaround
Sat, Sep 13 2014By now, you've likely read what we think of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata's new looks both inside and out, and you've probably poured over the available photos and started to make up your own mind about the roadster's radically more aggressive new appearance. More than likely, however, you haven't heard much from Mazda itself about its new design, and we're here to remedy that. Join Autoblog as we go over the new Miata from tip to tail with Derek Jenkins, Mazda North America's director of design. Jenkins, a veteran of both Audi and Volkswagen design studios, has been with the Japanese automaker for nearly four years, and he's kept a close eye in the ND Miata program along with his team in Irvine, CA. Check out our video to see Jenkins explain his team's exterior and cabin handiwork and to learn a little more about why the new model graduates from the Miata's historically cute and friendly aesthetic to something altogether more assertive.
Mazda sells 10 millionth car in the US, does something special
Wed, 23 Oct 2013When Lauren Carter of Glen Ellyn, IL was in the market for her first car, she went for a Mazda3. Not a bad choice, but not necessarily remarkable on the surface. After all, Mazda sold 123,361 of them here last year alone. What she didn't know was that the car she bought was the 10 millionth Mazda had sold in the US over the course of its 43-year history here, since selling its first rotary-powered R100 here in 1970.
Rather than let the occasion pass with nothing more than a press release (like the one below), Mazda gave Lauren a brand-new 2014 Mazda3 to replace the 2013 model she had bought. Which is a nice gesture, of course, but also enables Mazda to hold on to the landmark 10,000,000th car in its heritage collection.
