For sale is our beautiful black Mazda CX9 in excellent condition with only 56,- - - miles that has been very well taken care of by a non smoking driver.
This Mazda is the Grand Touring edition with almost every option available. The only options it doesn't have is the rear DVD entertainment system and AWD(although we never had any problem getting around in the snow with the excellent traction control system).We added a Viper remote start system which works very well. The interior is tan leather with heated front seats and black carpet. The seats have been cleaned and treated with leather conditioner several times and are almost perfect(the drivers seat just has a tiny amount of wear from getting in and out. There is loads of room inside with room for 8 with the folding 3rd row seat and lots of cargo capacity with it folded down. The tires are in good shape with many miles left on them. The oil has been changed every 4,000 miles with Mobil one full synthetic. We looked at several suv`s before buying our Mazda and it was the most comfortable and enjoyable to drive out of any of the others on the market. I encourage you to check out the reviews on it as they all praise it. We are only selling because we don't need as much room as we thought we would originally. 2014 Mazda3 officially rated at 30/41 mpg, priced from $16,945*
Wed, 24 Jul 2013It's hard not to be smitten with the 2014 Mazda3; after all, just look at it. But beyond its slick lines, we found the new compact hatch to be a pretty remarkable steer, offering up good levels of comfort and refinement, not to mention functionality and engagement. Now, there's more reason to like the 2014 Mazda3, as we've just learned that the car will officially be rated at 30 miles per gallon city and 41 mpg highway.
That 30/41 rating is for the Mazda3 sedan fitted with the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G inline four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. Opting for the manual transmission retains the 41-mpg highway number, but drops the city digits to 29. Hatchback models with the 2.0-liter engine achieve 29/40 mpg with the manual 'box and 30/40 with the automatic.
Mazda also offers a larger 2.5-liter inline-four in the 3, and while a six-speed automatic will be the only transmission available with this engine at launch, the automaker has confirmed that a manual is coming shortly. With the 6AT and 2.5, the Mazda3 sedan is rated at 28/39 mpg, or 29/40 with the company's i-Eloop regenerative braking system. Hatchback models shrink those numbers to 28/37 and 29/39 mpg, with and without i-Eloop, respectively.
Mazda6 Skyactiv-D Racecar ready to bring diesel to Grand-Am
Tue, 15 Jan 2013It may not be quite as radical as some of the company's past rotary racers, but the new Mazda6 Skyactiv-D racecar does have a notable powertrain underhood: the automaker's brand-new clean diesel four-cylinder engine.
Three of these new diesel-powered Mazda6 racers will take to the track in the Grand-Am GX class of the upcoming 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 26, with five drivers on each team. The car you see above, number 70, is sponsored by Mazda's longtime motorsports partner, SpeedSource.

Lexus, Mazda win KBB 5-Year Cost To Own Awards
Wed, 05 Feb 2014We focus a lot on what new cars are like to drive, but it's difficult on a one-week loan to really get a sense of what a car is like to live with. Sure, we try to recreate that sense with our long-term vehicles, but even after a year, it's impossible to know fully learn about a car, particularly in terms of reliability and cost of repairs. For 2014 model year vehicles, Kelley Blue Book has put together a list of the most affordable vehicles over a five-year period.
At the tippy top of the list are Mazda and Lexus, with the Zoom-Zoom automaker winning the award for best non-luxury brand. Lexus, meanwhile, was the most affordable luxury marque over a five-year period. It's interesting to note, though, that not a single Mazda won its segment in this year's awards.
General Motors did quite well, taking eight segments, including both the subcompact and plug-in segments, with the gas-powered Chevrolet Spark and Spark EV. The Chevy Camaro SS and ZL1 took the high-performance car award. Toyota was well represented, with five winners split between the main brand (Corolla, Prius C and Tacoma) and Lexus (LS and RX).
