As you can see from the pictures truck is in fair condition. Will require some work to become a daily driver, but we have been driving it all around our gate community for our trustee duties. It has power steering, power brakes, it has a/c and cruise control, it has never failed to start, transmission shifts properly and it drives straight. Tires are in very good condition. It will need a windshield, muffler and tailpipe and a proper tune up. All in all it would be a easy cheap project. I did purchase new window crank handles and new tail gate handle, will install when I receive them. This was the community work truck for the girls to drive and clean the bath house at our 13 lakes, it was put up for auction and the couple who one it did not have the money so to help out the community as we were in a budget crunch, We bought it at their bid. I as a trustee, been cleaning out a foreclosure and my parent are moving into the complex so I been helping them clean and move in and I have been driving the little mazda everywhere around the lake. It also needs a vacuum control valve I google the part as there are some vacuum lines hanging. We were going to hit the junk yard and fix this up for my girlfriends daughter, but we have to much going on to mess with it. With a little mechanical knowledge this could be a really good gas mileage vehicle for commuting or a kids first vehicle. You know these little vehicles like this keep going and going and are rare to find. I found all the parts on ebay and they are all cheap, you can buy anything you need. Will make a great vehicle!
Email me with any questions and Thanks for looking.

Consumer Reports declares most and least loved cars [w/video]
Wed, Dec 3 2014Consumer Reports is crunching the numbers from its annual owner-satisfaction survey, and part of that process is finding out how attached drivers are to their cars. CR simply asks readers of models up to three years old if they would buy the same vehicle again in light of their entire ownership experience, and tallies the results. After looking at the responses for about 350,000 vehicles, it turns out that people really love a certain California-built, electrically powered luxury sedan. That's right, this year's the overall winner was the Tesla Model S with a whopping 98 percent of owners saying they would purchase another one (the Model S also won this award last year, with 99 percent satisfaction). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray came in a close second with 95 percent of drivers hoping to park another one in their garage. A few models weren't quite so favored, though. The Nissan Versa Sedan was the least loved model among its owners; a mere 42 percent said that they would purchase another. The aging Jeep Compass didn't do much better, with just 43 percent of drivers willing to buy the softroader again. On average, about 70 percent of owners say they would buy their car again, and only four cars ranked below 50 percent in CR's findings. Check out the video above to see some of the winners and losers in a few of CR's categories. If you're a subscriber, you can check out the full list on its website. 2014 Mazda3
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Almost by definition, affordable compact cars aren't supposed to be fun. Sure, hot hatches get our blood pumping, but not long ago, the terms "compact car" and "economy car" could safely be used interchangeably. A key exception for the last decade has been the Mazda3, a car that has consistently delivered more dynamic thrills and tactile feedback than its contemporaries. Competitors have picked up their game significantly in recent years, however, leaving the Mazda3 wanting in several areas, including overall refinement, in-car technology and cabin appointments, so Mazda went back to the drawing board to create this all-new third-gen model for 2014.
Including this redesigned 2014 model, Mazda's recent crop of new products have targeted North America's hottest non-truck segments - compact car, midsize sedan and compact crossover/SUV. Yet it might be fair to call this launch the most important of them all, as the 3 remains the Japanese marque's best-selling vehicle. While America's pool of compact hatchbacks isn't exactly deep, the 2014 Mazda3 still has a challenging road ahead of it competing against two-box compacts that include the popular Ford Focus and recent additions like the all-new Kia Forte and the still-new Hyundai Elantra GT.
Mazda's awesome Hiroshima museum now navigable by Google Maps
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Visiting an auto museum is one of the best ways we know to connect with car culture and to commune with the past and bone up on one's knowledge. Most of us have a decent museum within a few hours drive of where we live, but that doesn't mean it's easy to see the world's great collections - factors like cost, time and mobility can get in the way. Videos are great, but they don't allow us to browse at our own pace or choose what we'd like to focus on. The folks behind Google Maps have a solution - the virtual museum tour, as seen here at Mazda's fantastic museum in Hiroshima, Japan.
The Google Maps tour allows viewers to take a walk through the main exhibition area of the museum, and you can focus on specific classic cars from Mazda, or check out displays featuring new technologies like Skyactiv. To take a quick spin through the museum - or a leisurely stroll at your own pace - scroll down to start your own virtual tour.
