You are bidding on my 2008 Boxster S RS 60 Spyder, I purchased this car from a dealer in Miami 2 years ago and only drove two summers here in northern Ohio, this car has never seen winter weather.  In my opinion this limited edition Boxster RS 60 Spyder has one of the best color combinations - Carrera GT Silver on Red.  Small little details in this package make it a head turner, included are additional factory ground effects on the nose of the car, factory wheel spacers, special 19inch wheels, silver gauges, silver center console, silver seat backs, silver seat belts, silver roll bar, Sport Crono package and heated seats. One of the best features of this car is the sport mode / dual mode exhaust button.  Push the button and the engine mappings change as well as the exhaust note.  The car turns from a very fast go cart feel to a snarling race car, it makes a great engine sound and on the downshifts makes a fantastic burbling sound that you can only get from flat 6 that produces over 300hp.   I had no mechanical issues with the car during my ownership, I had the following things done to it: 1.)  Routine Oil Changes and Tire Rotation 2.)  Had a 3M bra clear bra installed, the paint on this car is perfect condition, and I wanted to keep it that way 3.)  I had a local stereo shop install a Pioneer Double DIN system, with all new speakers, door, dash, rear & sub.  This Pioneer system has Bluetooth, iPod, Sirius XM and all the electronic features you could want, the original stereo system was pretty weak, it only had speakers in the doors and dash.  All of the installation was done with the utmost care and my personal involvement. 4.)  I had a new set of Bridgestone Potenza's mounted and TPMS tire pressure sensors installed 2 months ago, the tires are virtually new and greatly improved the ride over the set that I had that came with the car. 5.)  I also installed a new battery, the original battery was beyond it's useful life When I purchased this car, I bought it sight unseen by using a third party company that went out to evaluate it, send me your email address and I more than happy to send you the report, the analysis was extensive.

Marchionne threatens to move Alfa production out of Italy

Fri, 12 Jul 2013

Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne was unsurprisingly frank when asked by reporters about potential investments in Italian manufacturing for Alfa Romeo and Maserati, giving the Italian government the ultimatum, "Italy should decide if they want [Alfa Romeo's relaunch] to happen here or not as Fiat and Chrysler have several alternatives." Them's fightin' words.
Fiat's issue with the government stems directly from its courtroom clashes with the Fiom labor union. The two are currently embroiled in proceedings over longer shifts and shorter breaks, as Fiom has so far refused to sign a new contract citing revised labor laws that it says are anti-union.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat will be spending over $2.5 billion on development of eight new Alfas and six new Maseratis, in a bid to wrest some of the luxury pie away from BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. But that's only going to happen if the government is willing to play ball and make life easier on Fiat.

Maserati Levante Trofeo gets a twin-turbo V8 transplant from Ferrari

Wed, Mar 28 2018

With 590 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque, the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine powering the all-wheel-drive Levante Trofeo boasts more power-per-liter than any engine previously installed in a Maserati. Not surprisingly, the engine and its 156-hp-per-liter output are the product of the men from Maranello. The Ferrari-built V8 pushes the Levante Trofeo to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 187 mph. Big power isn't all that makes the Trofeo special. Maserati says its top-shelf Levante boasts a 50:50 weight distribution and a Corsa (race) mode, which means this 'ute ought to be a mighty fine steer. Launch control makes the ludicrous acceleration a repeatable affair, should drivers so desire to rearrange the faces of their passengers at every green light. Maserati Integrated Vehicle Control is supposed to seamlessly prevent driver mistakes instead of correcting them after the fact, as a traditional stability control system would do. In what we assume must be a joke, there's also an Off-Road mode. The interior of the Levante Trefeo is swathed in what Maserati calls "Pieno Fiore" natural leather that is supposed to wear uniquely with age. It's offered in black, red, and tan, all with contrast stitching. The limited launch edition you see here has massive 22-inch matte-finish wheels, matte black paint, glossy carbon fiber exterior bits and matte carbon interior trim. It'll come with a plaque featuring the owner's name and a serial number, but Maserati is only saying a "small number" will be built without giving an exact figure. We'll have to wait for official pricing information and availability, but we're sure it won't come cheap. Related Video:

Maserati Ghibli GranLusso gets semi-autonomous tech and updated styling

Thu, Aug 24 2017

Maserati's littlest sedan is getting a little bit of a makeover in the form a new GranLusso trim for the Ghibli. It will make its official debut at the Chengdu auto show in China, and it mostly consists of aesthetic updates. Up front, the GranLusso gets a grille that has chrome vertical bars in addition to the surround. They also appear thicker and more aggressive. The lower grille has been reshaped, with the outboard openings sweeping up and out, creating more of a smile shape. The headlights are less busy, with a very narrow LED accent strip, and square-shaped projectors. Along the side, the GranLusso gets some badges to tell everyone you got the newest fanciest Ghibli. At the back, the rear bumper has been ever so slightly reshaped at the base. Maserati claims the changes make the car more aerodynamically efficient, but don't give specifics, and frankly we can't imagine the improvement nearly enough to make any real difference to the way the car drives or performs. Styling tweaks aren't the only addition to the GranLusso though. The car will feature some type of semi-autonomous or autonomous driving technology. Again, no specific details were given. We reached out to Maserati for an explanation, and they wouldn't elaborate, saying that there should be more info when it makes its debut at the Chengdu show. No release window or pricing were given either. Related Video:
