I am selling my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT because I just purchased a new car. I purchased it from my uncle 10 years ago who purchased it from a dealer. The car is in good shape. I just put a new convertible roof on it last year. The car has a little more than 137,000 miles on it with a manual transmission. The car has been great for me and never gave me many problems. Of course with its age and mileage, it does have some wear an tear. It has its normal road chips and scratches. It was just inspected in December. I want to fully disclose everything. Some things that I know that it needs are two new tires in the back, there is a crack in the dash near defrosters, 6 cd changer does not work but the single one does, the light for the gas meter behind the dash is out. It had a little oil leak this year so I had the valve cover replaced and plug wires too I believe. I changed the oil in this car every 3000 miles and always fixed things when broken. I put a new timing belt in it as well as a clutch. The front seat does have a tear in it. The passenger side window also leaks some water into the vehicle during rain storms. It was smoked in. The soound system and radio not 100%. The radio volume control does not work well. I rewire the speakers to an amplifier and put a sub in it when I first bought it and the stuff is slowly breaking down and could use work. Parking break does not work right on inclines. Car rolls and may need new one. Rims have dents. Feel free to come check it out and message me for more specific pictures if needed. Bring a mechanic to give you peace of mind if need be. Email me with any questions. Cash only and no shipping.

Alfieri headed for production based on strong Maserati sales
Fri, 18 Apr 2014Maserati has been on a heck of a product surge recently. After years of subsiding on versions of the previous Quattroporte and the aging GranTurismo, the Modense automaker rolled out the new Quattroporte the year before last, the Ghibli last year, it will introduce the Levante crossover next year and - according to the latest intel - will begin production of the Alfieri sports car the year after that.
The Alfieri concept debuted just last month at the Geneva Motor Show, taking the form of a two-door sports car foreshadowing the brand's new design language. Reception was positive, but it appears that sales of Maserati's existing models is what's giving the Alfieri the green light.
According to Automotive News, citing an interview given by Maserati chief Harald Wester on Bloomberg Television, the brand has been getting 3,500 orders per month, putting it on track to sell 42,000 units this year - nearly three times as much as the 15,400 it sold in 2013. The profits generated off those orders could be enough by themselves to offset the losses which Fiat is expected to record this year based on flagging sales for the Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands in Europe.
Little Red Racing Car Kickstarter project a father/son affair [w/video]
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Tales of fathers and sons, whether told for adults or for children, never go out of style. It's appropriate then that The Little Red Racing Car, a story about a father and son finding and restoring a 1955 Maserati 300S, is such a stylish piece of work.
Author Dwight Knowlton first started working on The Little Red Racing Car when, after his son was born, he "went looking for the perfect Father/Son/Car book" and couldn't find one. Knowlton's artwork in has been influenced heavily by vintage automotive advertising and Grand Prix posters, and has a very clean, art deco vibe as a result.
Of course, TLRRC is still just a work in progress. Knowlton is hoping the Kickstarter community will help to get the ball rolling, and raise $25,000 to the book printed and distributed. The author even has a stretch goal to have the whole shebang made into and animated film - we love big dreams. Follow on below to hear Knowlton's pitch in his own words, or jump over to his Kickstarter page to look further or buy-in.
Dealer sues Maserati for fabricating sales numbers
Fri, Sep 4 2015A Maserati dealer with stores in New York, New Jersey, and Florida is suing Maserati North America for allegedly requesting that they inflate sales or receive lower incentives. The plaintiff in this case refused to participate and claims that it unfairly lost profits as a result, according to Automotive News. The lawsuit hinges on a request from FCA that its dealers move vehicles into their test-drive fleet, a practice called punching them. Most stores keep at least one example of each model in their demonstrator fleet. While they don't immediately go to a customer, a punched vehicle appears as a sale for an automaker at the end of the month. This case alleges that Maserati North America told its dealers in September 2014 to punch 2015 Ghiblis, even though the sedans hadn't been delivered yet. As a result, the Italian automaker was able to post an additional 105 sales for the month. Furthermore, the stores purportedly received additional bonuses when they later sold these models to customers, and there was possibly another request to claim vehicles as demonstrators in December 2014, Automotive News reports. Amid rapidly growing global demand, Maserati increased Ghibli and Quattroporte production to 900 cars per week in mid-2014. However, the company had to reverse course in 2015 and cut back shifts at its Grugliasco factory. The launch of the upcoming Levante crossover is expected to bring another boost.
