2007 Maserati Quattroporte Sport Gt - Rare "bianco Fuji" Pearl White on 2040-cars
Washington, District Of Columbia, United States
This is rare, rare, rare Quattroporte. The highlights: (1) it's a Sport GT - which means it's the baddest looking QP [do you really want an "executive"?],(2) it has black full leather, which means seats, door panels, dash, console [don't ever buy a Maserati and don't get full leather package, EVER], (3) power + heated seats, memory, (4) full carbon fiber interior [again, truly badass], sunroof, (5) 20 inch wheels with the red calipers, (6) factory navigation, (7) bose sound system, (8) xenon headlights. Here's the most important feature of the car. It has the fully automatic transmission (with paddle shifters), and does not have the duo select. If you buy a QP, don't get the duo select. Do your homework on this. The duo select was a disaster for Maserati. Whether you get this car or not, don't get a duo select. I bought the car in July 0f 2009. I am the second owner. I have owned lots and lots of cars, and more people stop to look at this car than ANY other car I've had.
Here are some Q&As: Why am I selling the car? I generally get in and out of cars, but this one I have had a long time. I'm looking at the Gran Turismo. What's my bottom line on price? Make me an offer. Before listing this car myself, I took it to two local high end car dealers. One offered me $37,500, and the other offered me $38,000. Independently, each told me that they'd sell the car for the upper 40s, and would pocket about $10k. I'd like to get in the low 40s, and I feel like that would be a win/win. Any paint work? NO! No paint work. Any engine repairs? No. Minor stuff. If you buy a QP, it will be in the shop and will be finicky. If you don't want finicky, then buy a Honda. The biggest I have had was brakes (pads, and rotors). What's wrong with the car? Body and interior are in excellent condition. If I were buying the car, there are 3 things I would identify. First, the right rear wheel has some damage from a curb. It can be fixed, or replaced. Second, the tire sensor gauge light comes on and off periodically, even though the tire pressure is fine. The light is annoying. Some other owners have apparently had that fuse removed. Third, there's a small scratch on the right rear bumper, 1-2 inches. Been garage kept? Yes, always. By always, I mean always. Dealer serviced? Yes, always. *** Happy bidding. I have a PERFECT ebay rating, so bid with confidence. |

Maserati's electric Alfieri two-seater coming in 2020
Sat, Nov 26 2016Maserati recently said it would sell its first electric car by 2020, and now we know exactly what it will look like. The company told Just Auto that it would build an EV version of its Alfieri, a two-seat concept car that it first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014. The Alfieri (above), which will also be produced with a V6 engine, "is being designed as a competitor to the 911 but it will be a larger car," said European GM Peter Denton. "More the size of a Jaguar F-Type." The gasoline version will go on sale in 2019, Maserati says, well past its original 2016 launch date. It was originally supposed to be a V8, but the company decided to go with a smaller engine to meet environmental requirements. There are no details yet on the performance or price of the EV model, but we'd expect it to have outstanding performance (and hopefully decent endurance), given its Italian pedigree. Maserati's parent Fiat is a reluctant player in the EV industry. CEO Sergio Marchionne recently told Car Magazine that "I don't know how to make [Tesla's] economic model work," but added that there's nothing Elon Musk's company can do that Fiat or Maserati can't. However, the car is set to arrive in 2020 and things can change a lot. Who would have thought just three years ago that Tesla would get nearly 400,000 pre-orders for an EV, for instance, or that Volkswagen would switch from a diesel-heavy lineup to an electrified future? The Rolls-Royce Dawn leads this month's list of discounts
Wed, Jul 8 2020If you're one of the few readers of this site who is in the market for a $350,000 Rolls-Royce Dawn, well, first of all, good for you. And you should be prepared to keep some extra money in your pocket, too, as the drop-top Roller leads this month's list of the largest monetary discounts with an average of $14,733 taken off the machine's $359,250 sticker price. That means buyers are paying an average transaction price of $344,517 for the 2020 Rolls-Royce Dawn this month, according to data provided to Autoblog by TrueCar, which equals about 4.1% off the price on the sticker. An intriguing pair of supercars land in second and third positions this month. The 2019 Acura NSX is selling for an average of $145,174 this month, which represents a 9% discount, or $14,373. With an eerily similar 9% discount of $14,079 comes the 2020 Aston Martin Vantage, which has an average transaction price of $142,002 this month. The Maserati Quattroporte is up next with an average discount of $13,634. Another Rolls-Royce model lands in the fifth spot, but instead of the aging Dawn it's the brand-new Cullinan SUV. Although the luxury 'ute boasts a large discount of $12,427, its staggeringly high retail price of $332,750 means buyers are getting a little less than 4% off the sticker. More interesting to most buyers will be the 2019 Lincoln Navigator, which is one of our favorite full-size SUVs in America. Buyers of Lincoln's range-topping vehicle are getting average discounts of $11,761. That represents a 13.4% savings for a final price of $75,940. Check out the Maserati Levante's not-finished interior
Mon, Jan 25 2016Maserati continues to develop the Levante luxury crossover years after previewing it as the Kubang concept, but new spy shots give us the best look yet at the interior of this long-awaited CUV. Our spies think we could finally see the production version as soon as the Geneva Motor Show in March. Look past the giant computer screen, keyboard, and rat's nest of wires to get an idea of what Maserati has in store for the Levante's wealthy occupants. The company fits the luxury crossover with thickly bolstered leather seats to hold front passengers tight, and the driver grips a three-spoke steering wheel. A piece of cloth partially covers the infotainment system, but its position echoes the one on the Ghibli. A wood-trimmed center console features several buttons, including a large control dial. This Levante's exterior camouflage and cladding hide a lot, but it's clear that the design sticks fairly close to last year's patent drawings. The big hump on the roof also can't hide the coupe-like arch that leads to the rear hatch. Maserati's crossover uses a tweaked version of the platform from the Ghibli and Quattroporte and likely shares their turbocharged V6 and V8 engines, too. The Italian company has high hopes that the Levante's mix of luxury and performance appeals to customers in the booming CUV segment because a success could turn around the brand's flagging sales. However, the vehicle needs to compete in a rapidly crowding market of high-priced entries that would soon include models like the Bentley Benayga, Lamborghini Urus, and Aston Martin DBX.
