Terms of Sale
PAYMENT METHODS:
Cash and direct wire transfers are the only acceptable form of payment unless otherwise specified by an authorized representative. Please contact us for details of finance and lease programs available and to apply. Please have all funds available for payment in full within a 7 day period and/or have financing arranged . If another form of payment is accepted by an authorized representative, the vehicle will only be released for delivery and/or shipping upon proof of valid and cleared funds in Naples Motorsports account.
DEPOSITS:
All vehicles remain available for sale until full payment or agreed upon deposit is received by Naples Motorsports Inc. When a deposit is received , the vehicle is taken off the market and other buyers may be lost. All deposits are only refundable at the sellers discretion. Please do not place a deposit on any vehicle unless you intend to purchase the car . Deposits are generally only accepted if the seller deems it appropriate for the buyer to have additional time to arrange for funds availability, financing, inspection etc. We do not accept deposits to hold a car so the buyer can "think about it".
REMAINING BALANCES DUE:
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due including all applicable taxes and fees within 7 days of the purchase date . This includes the completion of any finance or lease contracts necessary for Naples Motorsports Inc. to be funded in full for the vehicle purchase unless agreed upon by an authorized representative. All financial transactions are to be complete and Naples Motorsports fully funded before delivery and/or transportation of vehicle.
ADDITIONAL TAXES AND FEES:
We do charge a $599.50 documentation fee on each retail sale which includes a temporary tag when applicable, motor vehicle documents and transfers and miscellaneous expenses including clerical fees, notary fees and Federal Express and US mail charges. This fee will not be discounted or waived under any circumstance. Buyers are responsible for all state, county and local taxes and fees as well as any registration and title fees applicable in and required by the state in which the buyer will register and title the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for any expenses , tax and fees should they export the car outside of the US.
SHIPPING:
Naples Motorsports Inc. will be happy to assist buyer with transportation arrangements within the US borders when necessary to take advantage of our volume discounts. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and are generally paid COD when the car arrives directly to the transporter. Naples Motorsports Inc. assumes no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our premises . Naples Motorsports Inc. can not be held responsible for any delays in shipping as it is beyond our control. We will do our best in estimating shipping dates and times to make the delivery as timely and smooth as possible. Naples Motorsports Inc. will NOT handle any arrangements for export outside the US . It is the purchasers sole responsibility to handle all related details and transport of any vehicle to be exported. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley said last year that it was a mistake to pair Maserati with Alfa Romeo because it suggested Maserati was a mass-market brand. Now on its own, this year the house of the trident begins to unfurl its luxury wings. The Ghibli, Quattroporte, and GranTurismo Convertible will be on hand, but focus rests on the Levante SUV for the New York Auto Show. Maserati plans North American debuts of its One of One Customization Program and the brand-exclusive Pelletessuta interior designed by Ermenegildo Zegna. One of One ushers Maserati buyers into the same realm of possibilities that BMW's Individual or Porsche Exclusiv does for those German brands, the standard over the gateway reading, "Anything is Possible." Up to now, the GranTurismo - the carmaker's second-oldest offering - has offered the greatest range of customization. Yet those stock choices in hue and finish pale when compared to One of One's "thousands of interior and exterior options" wrought by "Italian artisanal craftsmanship." As Maserati did in Geneva when debuting the program, a celebrity will visit the New York show stand to take delivery of "their never seen before" One of One Levante GTS. The general population gets the keys to the One of One program "in the near future." The other show car will be a bronze Zegna Levante S Q4 GranSport with the new Pelletessuta woven Nappa leather interior. Said to be a lightweight material created by the Italian fashion house, both durable and comfortable, Pelletessuta will only be available in Maseratis. The carmaker seems to have done us a disservice by posting photos of the material in black, or perhaps they're trying to lure us to the show to see it for ourselves. The new leather won't be available in North America until spring of 2020, so if your mind had already begun considering a calico-cat-matched One of One interior in a Gattara-colored Ghibli, it's going to be a minute.
Maserati delayed the launch of the Grecale, its long-awaited second SUV, from November 2021 to the spring of 2022, but that doesn't mean the test mules and the engineers tasked with driving them are taking a sabbatical. The company is still testing prototypes all over the world, and it brought 80 pre-production models fully draped in camouflage to a test track in Modena, Italy, to create a giant trident emblem. Over 250 development models are racking up miles in Italy, Finland, the United Arab Emirates, China, Japan and the United States, according to the Italian firm. About a third of them gathered near the company's home town to form the 328-foot trident. It's a stunt that allowed Maserati to release a handful of cool images, but it teaches us little about the Levante's baby brother, which will be aimed at the Porsche Macan. Luckily, Maserati also released a couple of images that show four prototypes parked in front of the Milan Cathedral. We can tell that the Grecale borrows a handful of styling cues from the MC20; it's not simply a scaled-down Levante. Its headlights are oval and nearly vertical (the Levante's are thin and almost horizontal) and its grille looks wider and thinner. Earlier spy shots suggest that the Grecale wears a roofline that leans more towards sport than utility; it's not a utilitarian people-hauler with the proportions of a school bus. Unverified reports claim that Maserati will build the Grecale on an evolution of the Giorgio platform that underpins Alfa Romeo's Stelvio and Giulia models. If that's accurate, rear-wheel drive will likely come standard (at least in some markets) and all-wheel drive will be offered at an extra cost. We're guessing that four- and six-cylinder engines will be available, though full specifications haven't been published yet, and Maserati previously confirmed that a high-performance version worthy of the Trofeo emblem will join the range at some point. In some ways, Maserati had it easier in the 1980s. We don't necessarily mean in a financial sense, or that the cars were especially reliable, but it has to be said both the Biturbo and the third generation Quattroporte are both simple, three-box shapes that are easy to re-create from blocks of solid wood. The Swedish toy company Playsam offers the Alfieri concept, the Levante SUV and open-wheel Maserati race cars in wooden toy car form, and the production portfolio is planned to be enlarged later. Maserati has plenty of classic designs for Playsam to re-create, but our tip is to look into the Biturbo style cars if they want to take a break from all those swoopy shapes you can see in the slideshow above. Maybe they could even offer the Chrysler TC by Maserati with a detachable hardtop: Those round opera windows must be really easy to drill in place. Browsing the online store, the prices for the Playsam's Maserati products are far higher than the toymaker's conventional $70 wooden toy car range, at over $370 apiece.
