LOVELY 1939 MGVA TICKFORD DROP HEAD COUPE UNDER SAME LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA OWNERSHIP FOR PAST 45 YEARS.  FULLY RESTORED  IN DUO  (BRG) GREEN WITH BISCUIT LEATHER INTERIOR AND WILTON CARPETS.  MANY SHOW AWARDS AND RECENT ENGINE / TRANS REBUILD AS WELL AS A NEW SET OF BLOCKLEY TIRES MAKE IT A DELIGHT TO DRIVE.  600 OF THE TICKFORD VA MODELS WERE BUILT BETWEEN 1936/1939 AND THIS PARTICULAR ONE LEFT THE FACTORY IN APRIL, JUST BEFORE THE FACTORY WAS CONVERTED TO WAR TIME EFFORTS.   FEW EXAMPLES ARE HERE IN THE USA.
