1953 MG TD. Very nice driver. Car was restored in the mid 1990's. The gentleman spent a lot of money buying many new part. The odometer reads just over 4000 miles which I assume is how many miles are on the engine rebuild. The speedometer does not work and neither does the tach. There are many new extra parts included with the car (see pictures): new top kit, tonneau cover kit, dash lights, glove box, speedo cable, various hardware and trim, etc. The original top frame with old materiel is also included. Tires including spare are like new. Stainless exhaust. The original crank is behind the seat. The original side curtains are included but need to be re-covered. The right front boot over the steering rack is split and should be replaced. The hood has a very small tear in it in the center near the hinge. The clock is missing. Someone installed a radio in the glovebox door. Over all, this is a very nice car. The pictures do not do it justice. Please come inspect the car for yourself. It runs and drives great. All the lights and signals work. The car has an electric fuel pump and a battery shut off with installed under the right front fender. The wheel cylinders are all brand new and the master cylinder was serviced. The whole brake system was recently gone through, flushed, adjusted and is in perfect working order. Underneath, The car is solid. It has been undercoated, but the pictures tell the story of a solid original car. This car is ready to be driven and rallied and would even hold its own at any local show! The red paint shines deep and has very few minimal blemishes. Low starting price and no reserve! This is the nicest, most solid TD for the money on the market right now! The car is located in Northern Virginia. I can store the car for 30 days after sale if paid in full.
