NO RESERVE! 1952 MG TD Red/Black. I purchased this car some 8 or 9 years ago from a Bonham's Collector Car Auction held at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA. I am a car collector(as you will see from my feedback) The car was subsequently on display at the museum for 2+ years. It then went in and out of my heated storage the last couple of seasons. It has had lots of work done in the last five years with receipts totaling $4000. Just spent $2400 for new brakes including master cylinders etc., full engine calibration and sorting at the MG/British Car Specialty shop Brits Bits in Rye, NH over the fall. Car fires right up and Runs/Drives perfectly! New Clutch and 2nd gear less than 50 miles ago. Mechanically in excellent condition. The interior is in great shape as is the top and dash. Good carpets throughout. All chrome is in good shape except for some dullness in one spot on the grill. All gauges are functioning properly as I had the tach rebuilt two years ago. No rust and extra clean inside and out. The only weak part to the car is the paint; It was originally red but the gas tank is not appropriately painted on the sides. The paint is tired and chipped in a variety of places. It looks great from 5 feet but if painted the car would be in excellent condition. This is a really nice, honest, original MG TD US import that isn't hiding anything. If you have always wanted one I am selling cheap as I don't have the room. The car is currently located in Rhode Island about 1 hour south of Boston.
