You are bidding on a 1952 MG TD. This MG has been fully restored from the ground up.

I have several pictures of the restoration process along with all receipts, all of the documentation will go to the new owner.

This MG has been in California sense new.

The restoration items have been broken down into sections as follows.

Chassis

-Frame disassembled and sand blasted
-Re-primed and painted
-Front Suspension new bushings and ball joints
*Leaf springs disassembled and leaves sand blasted
*Springs painted and rebuilt using new leaf spring pads and hardware
*Rear axle ring and pinion gears changed from 5.125:1 to 4.30:1 ratio
*Rear axle housing sand-blasted and painted
*All seals and bearings renewed
*New BSF hardware
-Frame reassembled with above rebuilt components with new BSF hardware.
-Front and rear brake plates sand blasted, painted and rebuilt using new components (brake cylinders, brake fluid DOT5 and master cylinder)
-Frame fitted with new bushings and new pedal shaft at pedal box

-New fuel lines from fuel tank to carburetors

-All brake lines replaced

Tub

Sand blasted, primed and painted
-Original wood frame inspected and sealed
-All sheet metal, wings, aprons, running boards and bonnet sections sand blasted and primed and painted
-Dash board restored

-All paint and primer used in the restoration is a high quality DuPont two part polyurethane base paint.

Electrical

-All new wiring harness, connectors, and sockets

Engine

-Completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt

-Block re-bored to .060 oversize (These engines can be bored up to .120 oversize)

-Crankshaft magna-fluxed and reground to .010 rods and .010 mains

-New pistons, rings, and wrist pins installed

-New rod and main bearings installed

-Rods reconditioned

-New camshaft installed

-Valve lifters reconditioned

-Cylinder head inspected and valves reground

-All new gaskets installed
-New water pump
-Rebuilt dynamo
-Rebuilt starter

-Spin on oil filter

Gear Box

-Disassembled and inspected bearings and gears

-Installed new seals and gaskets

Chrome

-All new replica or re-chromed except for windshield frame and headlights

Interior

-All new seats with top quality leather (Moss Motors)
-All new matching side panels (Moss Motors)
-Hand crank mounted on seat back

Weather Equipment

-New tan top (Stafast)
-New side screen frames and covers (Stafast)

Tires

-15 inch radials
