The vehicle has had a full restoration back in 2008. The other cars you're looking at were restored in the 80's and have been wasting away in someones garage ever since. Why would you pay more for one that needs thousands of dollars worth of work rather than purchase a fully restored car that needs absolutely nothing for less money. I'm clueless. Let's pay more attention to the car your about to buy rather the home shopping network!

Why buy an MG-TD replica in the first place?

1. No British engine leaking oil

2. No Lucas wiring causing power failures

3. No breaking down around the corner from your house.

I grew up restoring XKE's, Sunbeams, MGA's, Triumph Spitfire, etc. I've also restored Bettles and Karmann Ghia's I know a lot about them and a replica is the smart way to go!

This little Chevy is easy to work on, will never brake down and last for years to come! Parts are plentiful and very inexpensive! Enough said!

It has a high quality leather interior, real mahogany dash and high quality plush carpet. Ordered and installed by a top shop. It's not the inferior interior like the others have. I have the receipt for parts and labor. $1,300! The custom MG steering wheel was $300.

EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WORKS!

Does not have a radio, however it is wired and has a brand new antenna and speakers.

The tires were replaced in 2010 and have a few thousand miles on them. They are like new and have no dry rot or weird wearing like the others have. The spare is brand new and has never been used. They are all Kumho 195/60/14 Power Star tires. They costed $750.

The radiator, alternator and battery are also new. I have the receipt for $500.

The convertible top, side curtains, boot cover and tonneau costed over $1,500. They were made 3 weeks ago buy one of the top shops in town. I had the rear window enlarged for increased visibility and safety.

The ceramic disk brakes were replaced last year. That job set me back a few hundred dollars. The other guys brakes are from the same year Back to The Future came out. 1984 if you're curious.

This car is also safer than the VW model. It has a heavy Chevy subframe that gives it superior handling and stability. It can also quickly reach speeds in excess of 85 MPH! I drove it straight to Phoenix doing 90 MPH!

It has a performance built 2 barrel Holly carburetor, performance exhaust system, and a built 1.6 4 cyl Chevy engine. This is no parade car!

I have all of the original paper work and documentation. EVERYTHING!

The car is originally from California and has been through rigorous DMV inspections/smog tests.

It has added safety features such as electric wipers, back up lights and seat belts. Once again, I drive this car at speeds up to 90 MPH.

The clutch was replaced last year and a just installed a brand new cable. $700! The other guys clutch is probably from when the Berlin Wall came down. 1989!
