This is an opportunity to purchase (because of a little one on the way) a YT. The chassis, motor, transmission, rear end, suspension, brakes were all redone by Auto-Motion in Boston. All the body parts that could be easily removed fenders etc have been chemically stripped. Interior, top, tonneau are in very good shape and are beige vinyl. Dashboard is new with rebuilt gauges. Rugs are OK. Nothing is missing. In fact there are a lot of little hard to find spares. All new rubber trim pieces, wiring harness, heater, Lucas fog lamps. Chrome in very good condition. Yes it is still a project but once everything is laid out on the garage floor, it will spring to life...almost. There is some rust under the running boards but the wood is good. The spare tire door is a replacement and there is some work that needs to be done. The tires need to be replaced but they are good rollers for now. Windshield is in very good shape. If you are looking you know the history of the YT-few were made, even fewer made it to US (this is a rhd model) and very few are around today. My dad drove us around in the YT when we were young, took it apart, his race TD pulled his attention away and it sat for twenty years. I thought that my brother and I could finish the car but a stork is circling the shop. The car is in Portland, ME and I can probably help with delivery within NE. I will add a picture of new dash and anything else you want to see. The pictures do not show the side hood panels connected to the top but they are show in a separate pix with engine side panels. Sheet metal is in remarkably good condition with no rust (other than minor surface contamination from storage). Car was titled in Massachusetts.
