Beautifully restored and with VERY RARE 15” Borrani center lock wire wheels

NOTHING makes a TD more appealing and attractive than a set of wire wheels.  And unlike the Dunlops often found on recently-done conversions, this car has its original set of Italian Borrani wire wheels….very ‘Ferrari-like.’

Wire wheels?  While the TD was not offered at the factory with wire wheels, occasionally they were installed at the dealer for the car’s original owner.  And they are gorgeous….just what a TD always needed.

The rest?  Rebuilt engine, 70-80 psi oil pressure, no smoke, ample performance, perfect running….numbers match, original air cleaner, beautifully detailed engine bay, gearbox is excellent with strong synchromesh action, quiet diff, brakes, steering, handling, ride, all first rate.

Weather equipment:  all new, all Stayfast cloth, side curtains still in bubble wrap…never used.  Interior and trim are all new, dash nicely detailed, all original gauges work properly, new Brooklands banjo type steering wheel (in matching color), most of the chrome is new (and what is not is very good), new radial tires, quiet exhaust, new wood floors, zero rust on the chassis and body rails underneath, wipers work, is fitted with a heater, wind wings, wind mirrors, seat belts, new battery, new wiring harness, mostly new electricals……

AND….it is an ‘EX’ (export) with original working turn signals.  Maybe add a radio and a pair of Brooklands style racing screens and perfect for show, general use, and (of course) country cruising.

Not purporting this is the best TD in the world BUT better cars sell for a lot more and, to be candid, they aren’t that much better.  AND if another car doesn’t have a set of beautiful Borrani wire wheels, well, it just can’t be compared.

In our showroom, tested, cleaned, ready to be delivered anywhere (for the holidays?).  What is best about these cars are the innate quality of the original manufacturer, readily available and relatively inexpensive parts, ease of service and maintainence, really superb steering, ride, and handling... Will cruise all day above the posted speed limits, and what fun to drive with the windshield folded down.
