1979 Mg Midget Mk Iv Convertible 2-door 1.5l on 2040-cars

 I have owned this car for 19 years on this fourth of July. I purchased it from a man who bought it in Oklahoma and drove it to his home in Minnesota. He was 6'4 and was so uncomfortable driving it, he had a inexpensive red paint job done on it (it was purple and British Racing Green before that) and parked it for 9 years. It had 50k miles on it when I got it, I have put just over 20k on it and it has been stored in early fall until late spring each year indoors. The car runs great and looks good; other than the chipping paint. If one is interested in this car I recommend they be no shorter than 5'4" and no taller than 5'11 as the seats are not adjustable except to lean back and forward a bit. I have a chronic back issue, so it's hard for me to get out of the car. It is easy to find after-market parts as well as used parts. It has all original parts, I have a dust cover and Chilton's type book for it. I'm so sad to have to sell it, but this car deserves to have a new owner who will drive it more than I am able to. I'm in Minneapolis, MN and the car will have to be picked up.
