I'm selling my 1979 Mg Midget. I bought it about 7 months ago with every intention of replacing the brakes and driving it and now I have too many other obligations to get around to it. It starts and runs but needs the brakes done. I have new brake lines (all 3), a new master cylinder, and a caliper rebuild kit(none of which have been installed but will be included in the auction). It needs the front rotors turned or replaced but the pads have barely any use on them and the rear drum brakes look good. The previous owner replaced the original carburetor with a new weber and new ignition coil. He said he rebuilt the transmission as well. I did buy a new shifter skirt too. One of the tyres leakes air and the full size spare needs new tire on it. The tyres are old and need to be replaced they are 175/70-13 and are pretty cheap. There are a few typical rust spots but was garage kept before I got it and has been under 2 tarps since I've had it. This car needs very little to be driveable. It is an old car and a small project.
I have removed and recycled the original rubber bumpers but have a 60's grill and chrome bumper that I bought and will include in the auction. I also have a new free and clean NC title. Feel free to contact me with questions or to come check it out. Thanks for looking.
