Professionally restored by owner of auto restoration shop with over 40 years experience, originally nice, very clean California car, little to no body rust, no collision damage, all work professionally completed by myself, happy to answer any questions or additional photos as needed.

ENGINE/DRIVE LINE:

Complete engine rebuild with .020 piston assemblies, reconditioned connecting rods w/new bolts, machined crankshaft, new camshaft, all new lifters, new timing chain, all new valves, all valve guides, hardened valve seats, all new valve springs, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt starter, new water pump, new fuel pump, new radiator core, all radiator/heater hoses, spark plugs, plug wires, all filters, new clutch pressure plate, clutch disc, and throwout bearing, rebuilt 4 speed manual gearbox by "Layland Motors" in Canton, Ohio, resurfaced flywheel, new clutch slave cylinder, rebuilt clutch master cylinder, new rear axle bearings, axle seals, all engine machine work by "Precision Machine" in Canton, Ohio, new battery, complete new exhaust system, sounds sweet!

No oil/fluid leaks of any kind.

SUSPENSION:

New rear leaf springs, all rubber spring bushings, rebuilt front suspension, new front coil springs, new steering rack boots, new tie rod ends, new front lever action shock absorbers.

BRAKES:

All new brake/fuel lines, new hydraulic rubber brake hoses, new rear brake wheel cylinders, brake hardware kits, rear brake shoes, new rear brake drums, parking brake cable assemblies, new front disc brake rotors, rebuilt front calipers, new front brake pads, rebuilt master cylinder, all dot 5 silicone fluid used.

BODY:

Completely disassembled to bare body tub, body stripped to bare metal, media blasted, and acid etch primed inside and out, body surface using urethane primer/surfacer, including inside trunk, engine comparment and inner body, body retains all original factory body panels with the exception of front apron, battery tray, and outer door panels/skins replaced with new quality British Heritage door panels, body still retains original floor pans, body showed very little to no rust, no rust thru, no collision damage, all body panels nicely fitted, refinished using all highest quality Dupont automotive refinishing products, very sraight, NO corners cut! original factory body color was Layland white with black interior, In keeping with the British theme, my personal choice of color used is very attractive 2008 Jaguar British Racing Green w/clearcoat with biscuit interior, VERY SHARP!, a little darker and cleaner than original color offered for 1979, even 5 original roestyle steel wheels were media blasted, tutoned as original and clearcoated, tires are older, but in very decent condition, new trim rings installed, original body jack and lug wrench media blasted & refinished all in trunk, all new body rubber weather strips, gaskets and seals replaced, new windshield and all seals, reconditioned front and rear urethane bumpers, new high quality Robins convertible top fitted, convertible top frame media blasted and refinished black, 2 new headlamp rims, new horns, original outside rearview mirrors come with but not installed, I had considered using custom aftermarket sport type mirrors, original outside rearview mirrors will be installed only by "NEW OWNERS REQUEST" only.

INTERIOR:

Seats totally disassembled, seat frames and seat tracks media blasted and refinished, new seat bottom webbing, all new seat foam installed, new vinyl seat covers installed, all new fitted carpet, all new door panel kits, new sunvisors, Craig cassette radio w/front and rear speakers, original convertible top boot come with [poor condition] and tonneau cover but may need replacement, all new dash switches and steering column switches.

SUMMARY:

Very cool MG Midget SOOO much work and money invested, have most all receipts, over $10,000 in new high quality replacement parts, materials and services, NO LABOR!, very detailed no disappointments here, no paint flaws, overspray, pits or dirt, very straight body, probably won't find a nicer one finished, never road driven since completed in 2013, very collectable future classic convertible British sports car.
