Here is my 1975 MG Midget. It has 59,839 miles. 

The good...

Runs and shifts like a champ. I had the front brakes completely redone; calipers (new, not rebuilt), rotors (new, not used or turned), & pads. The king pins and rear springs have recently been replaced. The tires are in great shape. Carbs have been thoroughly cleaned. The fuel line was gone through and repaired as needed. the paint is in fairly good shape. Somewhere along the line it was repainted in sandstone, which is a Toyota color from 1999. The floors and trunk are solid. 99% of the car is metal (the only place where there is filler is the narrow panel between the left front fender and the driver's door). The interior is in really good shape, I'd put it at an 8 out of 10. The top frame is is excellent shape. I have several receipts dating back to 1980 from work done to it over the years. I have several manuals. I have two bins full of various extra parts that will go with the car; electrical, trim pieces, radiator, interior pieces, clutch, fuel line, etc. Hardtop with good glass is also included, as well as two "bonnet" covers. There is a mounted spare, I also have an extra wheel and tire in decent shape. 

The bad...

Reverse lights do not work. Temperature gauge does not work. Aftermarket Blaupunkt AM/FM tape deck does not work. Emergency brake barely works. The top is usable but beat up, there is a slice in the rear window a few inches long and several of the snaps/grommets are missing in the back, but it does snap down and will not flap while driving. There are new tops on ebay for $230 shipped. 

I bought the MG April of '12 and have only driven it a few times. I have been starting it every week or two. Typical story of why I'm selling; haven't had the time to put into it, and am pursuing other projects. This is a great daily driver with restoration potential if you have the inclination to go that route. I have a clear MA title. To get inspection ready, buyer will have to repair the emergency brake and back up lights. Everything else should be good to go to have it inspected.

I will accept a bank/cashier's/personal check or money order, but neither car nor title will be released until check clears and the funds are actually in my account.  MG is not currently registered, but I have a 16 foot vehicle trailer and will be able to deliver if need be depending on where you are for additional money. We can negotiate that as needed. This is a 37 year old used vehicle, so please keep that in mind. No warranties of any kind.
